I get that some times, too. There's a little lady from Pakistan who shops at my hubby's store...she saw me vaping outside one night and keep saying she was going to call the police and tell them I was smoking drugs in front of Mr. Jim's store....mr. Jim would never allow that, Mr. Jim would be so upset....I kept laughing and offering my phone, said I had Mr. Jim on speed dial and maybe she should go in and get him while I called the police for her. She called me a few nasty names, I remained polite and cordial, even when I offered to throw my mod at her head if she didn't stop poking the air in front of my face.

Bahahaha!!!! That's hilarious! I bet your hubby loved that.

I haven't received any response from the reps. but one from our state senator, Johnny Isakson. Mostly standard, outlining the bill, yada, yada and ended with this:

"Currently, H.R. 2058 has been referred to the in the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Should this or similar legislation come up for consideration in the Senate, I will be sure to keep your thoughts in mind as I consider my vote."

I wrote him back, thanked him, and told him I will be sure to keep his thoughts in mind as I consider my vote in 2016.

Sooooo, do your spouses get jealous of your relationships with your friends on ecf? My wife Julie is so cool about things. I can spontaneously lol and she knows it's one of you girls that cracked me up What's even more amazing is that she doesn't smoke or vape!! I'm so lucky to have a girl like that.

My hubby just laughs at me. I tell him stories of what's going on around here and he just shakes his head.

yep...it's all about ..and always HAS been about the money.
I wish I could remember the name of the author I was listening to on NPR one day. He was saying that Capitalism is so crooked because it is the belief that "they"..Big Business..can't make money or compete ..if they stick to a moral High Ground. This guy was saying that that's not true...that businesses CAN prosper...but it's the overwhelming tide of Big Business...lie, cheat, skimp, bribe , lobby..anything to make the Buck...that ultimately makes it hard for an upright moral Business to succeed.

That's no more true than the belief that the only way to campaign is to run a smear campaign. I am just dreading the upcoming presidential election. I can't stand that all we hear is how the other candidate is so wrong for the position. It's sick and twisted just how far off track our business morals and our politicians are nowadays. My brother-in-law and sister own a construction company. My BIL and his crews build very high-end homes and my sister runs the office part of the business. They do VERY well for themselves and have never once resorted to lowball tactics in their business practices. It can and SHOULD be done by everyone. I personally will not support a business OR a politician who won't play nice.

You've probably seen him around, he's a Ninja, so ya gotta be quick to get a glimpse of him. He mostly hangs out in the Mech Mod/General Vaping area. He goes by Bad Ninja lol.

Let me tell you...yesterday (even though I knew it was a complete waste of time, but wanted it on the record) I emailed both Barbara Boxer and Diane Frankenstein....this morning I had to disinfect my keyboard they both stank it up so bad.

I think Boxer and Frankenstein both have over stayed their welcome.
They try to keep the little man from voicing his/her opinion. What we need is a bunch of little men/women with loud voices to start raising hell every time one of em gets outta line. The only way to stop something is to put your foot down and get the word out. We can all be keyboard warriors, but until we use our outside voice to be heard, all we are, are words on a screen.

I had something similar happen...sorta..back where I'm from if you had 'weird' hair or piercings/tattoos super bible thumpers would come outta the wood work to pray for you cause you obviously are a devil worshiper I was waiting at walmart to pick my mum up after she got off work, just chillin outside mindin my own, and one of them approached me and started her spiel, ignoring her wasn't working, so I admitted to her that I went to church every sunday, and she was just aghast 'surly not. not looking like that.' so I went back to ignoring her and pulled out my ego and that just set her off ' oh dear lord! she does drugs. save this poor soul' yada yada just making a huge scene in front of the store. I calmly tried explaining but she just wasn't having none of it, so I started walking away and she started following me, yelling gibberish at me. I almost chucked it at her.

Max has started getting mats, I think it's from swimming. He knows what scissors mean, even though I only cut into the mat and I'm not just whacking chunks off of him (yet).
