have you tried to use a range extender?It is so frustrating. Right now my modem and router are out on a covered portch which certainly is not centered for the best internet. I cannot get internet in most of my basement because it doesnt reach that far and I have a finished basement with tv and computer down there. The cable company won't move the equipment unless I get someone else in to rewire the house - crazy. We called the company and it is another $200 to get it wired for their cable so it is still on the porch. I am so mad about the whole deal....being without internet for a month and still in the same position we were in originally. We pay for a high speed internet but the only place we get close to what we pay for is in the yard, kitchen and living room. The rest of the house sucks and I like to watch netflix and hulu in the bedroom and sometimes I can get it and sometimes not. Anyway, enough of my troubles - hope everyone is ready to enjoy spring. Its a beautiful day here and about 70 degrees

A range extender can work wonders as long channel congestion isn't the issue, I have one of my routers pulling extend duties and it reaches out about 300ft with little problem.

Jealous! We had over 15" of rain overnight, and my wonderful city is under water! Supposed to get more tonight, just hoping hubby has an easier time getting home than he did getting there this morning.
Warm during day here cold at night cant decide to dress for summer or winter...lol guess just keep a jacket on hand for now... hope all have a good night
Just heard from hubby...flooding has gotten worse and he got almost all the way home, and about 10 minutes away ran into closed streets and can't get here. Sigh...he's heading back to work to try and nap for a bit.
Thanks' hon! I'm basically trapped in our neighborhood (at least dry and have power), he's basically trapped where he is. He can take the freeway to about 10 minutes from home, but because of bayou and creek flooding in an east-west tracking, he can't come north, I can't go south.
Hope he makes it home or somewhere to get his insulin. I am diabetic and know what its like not to have insulin for a while not a good feeling.
