Afternoon all.
I seen a UFO today in Scotland. it was a big bight orb in the sky that was pumping heat out. I think i remember seeing it before but was such a long time ago i cannot be sure. it been in the sky all day and now it is 28c in Scotland and the hottest day of the year. i could not stand out under the UFO wile vaping had to run to the shadows.

That's it? Hottest day of the year where I'm at was 113f (I think that's about 45c) There's a couple of people on this forum from the SoCal desert area where you can add several degrees to those figures. Doesn't it ever get warm there?

Oh hail no, that 113 is foe da birds. I will stick to my muggy mid nineties we have here in wv, only good thing is im not due back at my employer for another 2weeks or so, then i deal with heat and muggyness

When I lived in Fresno, it would regularly hit highs of between 115-118 during the summer. The dry heat made it a lot better though. With the nightime temps falling down near 80, the night was the perfect convertible driving weather. Then when I moved to the SF Bay area, daytime highs were always in the upper 80's except for the one week a year when it would flirt with 100. And when the late afternoon breezes would come in from the bay, it would cool everything down.

The summers here in NY feels much worse, even though the temps are cooler because of the humidity.

Ah, try Florida on for size...it's 93 with a real feel of being on the sun while raining

4 years in Tucson, I don't remember it ever going over a hundred. But, the sun was intense! Of course, my other 48 years were in Ohio, we don't see the sun too often...

the Scottish summer is the one day of the year where the sun comes out.
