Not burnt like a dry hit where the cotton starts to scorch and the vape burns your throat, but more like the juice on the coil itself is overcooked where the flavor changes and starts to taste funny. When I am cleaning the coils, I'm pulsing it at 600 degrees so the coil just starts to glow and after the caramelized juice is cleaned off the coil, it glows as it should from the center of the coil out.
If using the right mode (ti/ni) for the wire......it shouldn't glow at 600.
Ti will start to glow at 600 on ni mode.....but you are over 800 by then

Speaking of coil....this is what I've been doing .......

Dual Ti Clapton, 24/32 gauge, ohms at .08.....something you just can't do with Ni wire ;)

It's all purple because I was playing with the hue in the editing software, and thought Mary Jo would like it [emoji14]

What type of wire? Sounds like the device is not properly regulating the temperature. I have seen reviews that the Sigelei 75 provides a weaker vape not stronger.

I have a sneaky suspicion your ohms are fluctuating on that particular dripper, this would explain an over/under powered vape.

Some drippers posts cause this, and can be circumvented by wrapping under the post screws instead of using the holes.

Just tried bumping the temp to 400....no problem. But once I bump it up to 420, the tail end of the vape starts to taste like burning juice. And the RDA is a Velocity clone. It uses grub screws, so you can wrap the wire around the post screws, you can only thread the wire through the holes.

I'm curious, because a good TC build will give you close to the same temp at the coil, regardless of airflow, so if the juice you are using doesn't over cook at 500 in a tank, it should handle that in your rda as well.

Recheck your post screws, cause my gut still says hot leg, which WOULD over cook juice

What! I'm glad UPS saved the day! :)
me too! After dealing with three people at the post office and being told they would call me today with information I got home and UPS had saved USPS lol. Today I'm going to offer to just pick my packages up so the mail carrier doesn't drop any more lol. Its a very small town and the post office is only 3/4 of a mile away. I love that the carrier actually walks his route but I don't want to risk any IMPORTANT stuff getting lost!!

Just got my ss430 28 gauge wire in, immediately built some coils......reliant works great on ss wire

The great thing about ss, if I forget and put it on a non TC mod, no biggie, works fine that way also [emoji14]

I don't blame you! Losing vapemail is definitely NOT a good thing. I'm really glad you got it back, though. Yay for UPS! :)
