I had confidence in the ohms. It was a coil short that was my biggest fear and even though I know these things have protection built in, I was just not that trusting on my first go around. Like I said though, now I want to tear it out and do it again, lol

I've conquered my fear :)
Lol...the first is the worst...

Is he part wolf? Outside of the standard amount a husky is part wolf.
Huskies are no more wolf than your Chi's, or a poodle, or a GSD. It's a popular misconception, though, and one Husky owners have to work against all the time. Max may have some Malamute in him, as he was rescued from an area that has had several red/white woolies show up, and some have had a dna test to check for Husky/Mal mixes. His size is uncommonly large, even for a wooly, and the males generally run around 55-65 lbs. Max was 92 last vet weigh in. My poor, sweet, genetic freak was probably dumped because of his coat, it's an undesirable trait among breeders, even backyard breeders.

That was my meaning, all canine are wolf descendants. You being a dog person I figured you would have came back with what you did ;)

He just looks like he may have a descendant that was wolf, his muzzle looks a bit elongated.

Lol...I don't meàn to get snappy...we have a few people at the dog park that scream about the wolf pack...lmaoooooo....as their 2 lb dog is snapping at us and Max just tries to kiss them , they are afraid he's going to eat them. My old boy who we lost last year looked more wolf than Max or his brother, Blizzard, who has a short, stubby snout that makes him look more polar bear.

I am currently owned by 5 cats ranging in age from 6 months to 18 years. We'd like to get a dog, but I don't think it would be fair to our 3 oldest, so we'll just have to wait a while. I like big dogs. I saw one recently who was half-Malamute, half-German shepherd. What a beauty he was! And huge.
