Hey guys... what did I missed?
I agree. Definitely if they live in areas that have alot of neighbors. I live in the country, and we let our dog free roam in the evenings (except we check on him about every 20 minutes, and all we have to do is whistle and he comes straight to the porch to show us hes okI'm so glad my annoying neighbors across the street moved. They had a big black lab that they left outside all the time in their front yard that was not contained in their yard at all. I could barely take my dogs outside because their dog would always run across the street barking and trying to start stuff with my dogs. Chance (the neighbor's lab) seemed like a sweet dog, but he just didn't like other dogs and would constantly run around trying to mess with any other dogs around. I never wanted to yell at him or call AC because it wasn't his fault the people didn't seem to care about him, but it was certainly annoying to protect my dogs or watch for them to actually take him inside every now and then so I could take mine out. They would even leave him outside when they weren't home and he was free to wander off.
My next door neighbors on the other hand are great people. They have a small dog that is also aggressive towards my dogs and will run them into the house barking. He would actually stay outside and watch his dog whenever he took him out, though, so if anything happened, he would come and help stop it. We worked out schedules with our dogs so we didn't have to deal with the stress, though.
I just don't see how people can let their dogs roam the street and not care to watch them at all. Especially like my previous neighbors who would leave the house for hours and leave their dog out running free. They are living things that you are responsible for.I never take my eyes off my dogs when they are outside, and I even take one out on a leash if there are other people outside to avoid any trouble.
Yea....see, I could never chance that with my dog. I loves him way too muchYeah. Being in the country is different. My neighborhood is pretty close houses though. And we're towards the front close to the main highway and a lot of the neighborhood traffic.
My sister and brother in law adopted a rescued Jack Russell mix. After about a month or so, he ran away. He was gone for a month or so and they finally found him after he was hit by a car and died.Yea....see, I could never chance that with my dog. I loves him way too muchHe was so upset when we grounded him and took his free roaming privileges away. Lol He was being a little sh`t during that time. He has not left the property since

I had even tried telling him we were vegans previously to make him go away!
One of these days, their cat will go get neutered and released back.*revives from the dead*
Howdy y'all!
I read every day or so and had to stick my 2¢ in on the current topic.
I'm so glad we get along with most of our immediate neighbors with pets. We don't have a fence and the property geography doesn't lend well to putting one in. Our fur baby is property line trained though. She knows what is her yard and knows she'll get her .... whooped if she goes anywhere she's not allowed like the street or the next door neighbors that don't like animals. (The other next door neighbor however lets her in the house and feeds her and she knows it.)
With that said though, she does get excited when the other dogs get loose and will go play in the cauld de sac with them. Whoever spots them first can easily fix that though with a "Little Man! Nala! Come here! Who wants a cookie?" to lure them back. Normally that's me, cuz she doesn't go out by herself. Somebody is always outside with her, ready with an "at at!" in case she spots a deer or rabbit or something equally as tasty, furry, and entertaining to chase. Like the two chihuahuas from down the street that wander loose and antagonize the bigger dogs... mmm, Mexican food.
Bottom line? Friendly interactions, ok. Anything that could be trouble? An "at at" and zooming back in the house faster than a bullet. ....unless it's something I need the big "scary" pit bull to keep away... like the annoying sales people!
....I haven't seen the Capital Meats man in at least six months. I was apparently hidden behind something working and he saw the 80lb front porch welcome mat start coming towards him at an easy lope. He was back in his van and slamming the doors shut before you could blink!I had even tried telling him we were vegans previously to make him go away!
I am sorry for those of you that have lost pets to other's mistakes or carelessness with their own pets. That type of thing should never be allowed to happen. They're just like four year olds. You gotta babysit the playground to prevent the bullying. I do hope however the negligent owners in each case have gotten their karmic slap and you got to see it.
(And a side note for the prevention of bad cats in the yard. Those cheap plastic toy guns from the Wal-Mart hunting and fishing section that are spring loaded to shoot plastic BBs are a god send. Just enough wap to scare the begeeus outta them, but won't injure them. Don't ask how I know...)
That is terrible! My sister and brother in law adopted a rescued Jack Russell mix. After about a month or so, he ran away. He was gone for a month or so and they finally found him after he was hit by a car and died.
It's supposed to be here tomorrow!! I'm soooooo excited!!!! I hope I can get my laptop running before then so I can post pictures as soon as it gets here. No luck so far, so it looks like I might be laptop shopping...two weeks before Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Can't wait to see your mystery prize!!!! Apollo is very generous with these contests!!![]()
Oh no!!!! I'm so sorry. That's horrible. [emoji26]Lost 6 ducks today from dog attack.Had to be sport killings cuz the dogs just left them lying there where they killed them. It really disgusts me that peeps won't keep their dogs in control, many just let them run around and kill everyone's livestock..

In our neighborhood its the humans that are the menace not the dogs...earlier this year elizabeths dog got out and the neighbors cousin intentionally ran her down. Diz was on her way calling the dog when it happened. Nothing more heartbreaking than her scream as they sped up. still haunts me sometimesMy sister and brother in law adopted a rescued Jack Russell mix. After about a month or so, he ran away. awww.... everyone should have friends and family like you anjel. The D2 and Love Potion? That's is pure love and dedication to a cause.on a lighter, happier, vape related subject I have taken a couple new vapers under my "wing" and besides getting a mech out of the hands of a girl who had NO business with one (bye bye to my D2 to get her switched to something safer) I was getting one of my adopted sons set up with flavors and wire and such...while we were going through flavors I gave him the choice of all my flavors...even my favorites...what does he choose? Tobacco? nope. unflavored? nope. cereal? wrong again...he takes my love poision (@redrebel821 you know I love him to have given him that one!), superman ice cream and a gummy CANDY...prefers CANDY flavors...lol...made me think of our conversation a little while back....I mean he is one of my KIDS but in his mid twenties I hardly think he qualifies as a KID lmao....
Nice! My In-laws were in Brunswick for the Brunswick Stew festival a couple weekends ago. They were able to go see where they are filming da movieI have to get up and get moving soon. I have big plans today...
Ben Affleckis in town and they've turned our little city into a movie set for the making of "Live by Night". It's a major transformation back into the "Roaring 20's". I'm hoping to catch his eye and maybe get a wave or a nod or something.

You, for one, can imagine what a big deal this is here. It's all in the downtown area and they've made the streets into dirt roads and all the old buildings have false fronts put on. Makes it easy to imagine Brunswick back in it's glory days. It's gonna be fun. We don't get much celebrity here.Nice! When I was a kid, my dad had a couple of cars in the movie Murder in Coweta County. I got to meet Andy Griffith, Johnny and June Carter-Cash, and a bunch of the others that were in the movie. It was cool we were there for almost a week. My Mom has pics of me and my brother with all the cast membersYou, for one, can imagine what a big deal this is here.
