Thanks you guys. Yes, I do want to sub ohm. I'll try both of these. So, what if I wanted to do the single coil between the posts? Maybe use a twisted wire to wrap it? Would that get me low enough using this 26 gauge with just one coil? And, are you talking about spaced wraps?
My wraps are all spaced coils. I've tried contact coils using a Kuro Koiler and I prefer spaced coils more. With the wide dual post, doing a spaced coil is easy. I've done single coils (when I was using nickel) in the Velocity between the two posts but the biggest pain is putting in those 90 degree bends in the coil legs. Here is a pic of a single coil build sitting in between the posts.

Nice!! That does look fairly easy to build. I think I would like that a whole lot better than the Haze clone I am building on right now. The coil is in a weird position on it.

Of course the important thing is your coil has to be narrow enough (in diameter) so there is no chance that the coil itself touches the post. As you can see from my pic, the positioning isn't exactly perfect because the coil is really, really close to the post on the left.

Thanks for the picture. I get that about the 90 degree angle because that's the way I have to do it in the Lemo. But, it's the first and only thing I've ever built on so it's all I've ever known. I've got it down where I can do it a lot easier than when I first tried. I guess it would be harder as your coil gets longer though. The stumpy is pretty small inside and between the posts rather than the dual set up is even smaller. I'm interested in between the post 'cause it seems the wicking would be more efficient with the coil placed that way. I'm going to try all ways though, just need to get the others in so I'm not constantly ripping them out and putting a different build in.

That would be great. I have a Stumpy and the only wire I have right now is 26g kanthal but I have some 28 gauge TI ordered.

What mod are you going to run this atty on? A mech mod, tc mod, or? There can be big differences in rda builds depending on your mods' power capabilities.

How many watts would like to vape at? That will have an effect on the coil diameter and wire gauge needed to ramp the heat up quickly and provide adequate coil to wick surface contact area.

Fwiw, I would not build a single coil placed in the middle of a stumpy rda. There is insufficient airflow available there to cool the coil uniformly. Better to have the coil (s) outboard where the air intake is moving across the entire surface of the coil (s).

I bet it does feel good to be somewhere more permanent! I know my poor husband sure is sick of coming home to visit, lol. When he was in North Dakota at least he had a steady residence, but being on the road he only has his truck! I personally like him being over the road a lot more, though, because I get to see him every 2 weeks instead of every 3 to 8 months, lol.

And I know what you mean about the Reliant. I just love this mod and the Phazer tank!!! I never knew TC could be this good. :)
Them being gone so much is rough! I remember when JT started working the pipeline I would only see him like twice a year...I almost wish he had started driving truck when he had the chance a few years ago so he would be home every few weeks but he really loves working on the pipeline so my travels continue lol.

Is the Phazer tank really that awesome? I still don't have one and I think I want it to be my next tank...if its half as good as my reliant itll be my all day tank... I just don't want to end up with another loud/unsatisfying tank that's collecting dust on my shelf

For now I'm using the eVic Vt in power mode since I've yet to get batteries for the Cloupor Mini. After I get the battery for it I'll use both. Regarding TC, I've only used the two coils that came with the eVic and I liked it alright just have no preference yet. I've ordered 28g Ti wire for the eVic though.

Thank you for the birthday wishes!!! I'm hoping life gets a little better too ...he has less than a week to go. We had to go for all his pre testing today and attend a class on hip replacements....pretty interesting but too long....we left at 11:30 this morning and just got home 10 mins ago....I thought hubby was gonna start snoring ...lol ..lots of people yawning....but I think they do it to make sure everyone has a caregiver at home so they could help them if they don't.

twice in the last couple days Ive started out to tell you happy birthday...I'm sorry I missed it...happy belated birthday lol...Now that I'm back on the laptop I can actually get caught up and say everything I was thinking while trying to type on my stupid phone lol

I don't have the money to go right now. It'll have to wait. I'll be ok in a couple days or dead matters not to me lol

Aww please don't say that. ...your family needs you and so do we. Pain will get better....I've often wished penicillin was Otc ..it helps so much for tooth pain to kill the infection and it's not a drug someone would abuse ..they could control behind the pharmacy and have you sign for it like sudafed - it sure would help lots of people suffering from infections.
I know they won't make it Otc so you don't get immune but it costs you a small fortune to go to one of those 24 hrs clinics just to get a $5 prescription. Take care of yourself and remember they can't turn you away at the emergency room and you can fill out the paperwork to get treated free if you can't afford it right now or just pay them a couple bucks a month.

Of course Ive been thinking of you!! You are on the list of people on my mind even when I'm not online silly! The people on this thread are part of my ECF family and I hate missing out on "seeing" everyone.

Unfortunately when I'm in AL I just cant keep up with my friends and devote proper time to my family there so they get me when I'm home and you guys get me when I'm in PA...its like shared custody LMAO...then I got back to PA and hubby got everything into the new house but if it wasn't groceries or his clothes it didn't get put away...I cant blame him he was also starting a new job so his hands were full

I think the problem with antibiotics is that if you don't take the full course, you could end up allowing the bug to develop a resistance to the antibiotic, which in the long run makes it much, much worse.
