Ha! My son would always come home with bumps and scrapes...no biggie, till one day he was running under the canopy over the school sidewalk and turned around to look, and went head first into a support beam. HUGE egg...they took him into the nurses office, and when she called me she was laughing so hard she could barely speak. maxwell had told her the house rule was "if the bones aren't sticking out, the blood isn't shooting more than 2', and it's not on fire, it's not really an emergency"...but she wanted me to know anyways.

Ha! It's only funny because there was a huge goose egg, though. If there was no goose egg, then that could be a very big problem!

Overslept last night and got behind on my pain meds. The finger woke up ...... off @$%-&%#@&*!!!$@%. Better now but had to take some oxy. Now I get to be nauseous for hours. Oh well, shouldn't complain I guess, it could have been much worse. Thanks for all the support.

The temperature in NYC was recorded at 12:01 am at 60 degrees. It is slated to reach a high today of 74. The high for Christmas Day is supposed to be 70. Saturday is supposed to drop back down to the 50's, but then it will climb back up into the 60's on Sunday. It is warmer in NY than it is in southern California.

81 here right now, supposed to be the same tomorrow.Monday drops to 52. AC to heat in one day!

Ugh, I feel for you. I can't handle oxy, either. Makes me seasick for days and then constipated for a month! Probably TMI, but there it is.
