Hope everyone had a great holiday. I drove up to see the family in Grants Pass, OR. I was supposed to be there for Thanksgiving, but had the short notice surgery on the shoulder. All this talk about unseasonably warm weather...I bought a set of tire chains before leaving and a good thing I did as they were required over the pass in Oregon. Haven't driven in snow for 20 years, what a pain in the neck...but really beautiful.

Yeah, and sadly I cannot afford to drive up wed for the funeral, combination of time and money, so while im there in spirit my mother will have to represent us

I've had the same thing happen, it's awful not being able to always be there.
