Only vaper in my pack, my sister doesn't care where I vape as long as it's not in her truck lol. My best friend smokes a tobacco pipe, but he's cool with me vaping around him, he says it smells better than any air freshener.

EDIT: I worked at Valvoline for a bit and the manager let us vape as long as the customers didn't see it.

pipes smell pretty darn good most times too _ I always did enjoy the smell of a pipe but hardly ever see anyone smoking them these days!!! It's nice when you can vape wherever!!!

Nobody, family or friend, mind us vaping in their place. We do tend to try and not vape right in front of the extended family kids while indoors, but outside is fair game. They are still a bit young to really get it.

I don't vape around my grandkids because they ask too many questions when I did. They all live out of town and when they come home I just go in my bedroom. It's awkward but it works. My kids are just glad I'm off the cigs so I get no grief from them. My brother, former cigar smoker, has to try my vape every time he is here and has a few beers...lol.

I get some grief from people about vaping, but I try to educate people who will listen to me. Sometimes I just get a glassy-eyed stare back, but sometimes I feel as though people really do want to know why I feel that vaping is MUCH safer than smoking and really is a wonderful alternative. I get a lot of "I read..." or "I heard..." from people who don't even smoke, which drives me nuts. There is so much misinformation out there that even those with no dog in the fight are forming opinions based on what they are seeing. The second-hand vape thing is what really gets me fired up. Argh. All I can do is defend my stance with the facts as I know them, though, and try to not get caught up in argument for the sake of argument, you know?

I also get mad about the second hand vape complainers and there is no changing their mind!! I hate it!!!

So, yesterday I was at the dentist and I thought to ask him his opinion on vaping and the effects of ethyl malitol on the teeth. I know that xylitol is actually good for the teeth, but I wanted to make sure that other sweeteners were not harmful. He told me that he sees no reason at all why the sweeteners in e-liquid would cause us any harm dentally. He asked me how long I had been vaping and I told him 4 years. He said he saw absolutely no signs of any dental issues, let alone any that could be tied to vaping in any way! He did say that nicotine is not healthy for the gums, but I told him I use a very low level of nicotine. He said he would have never even guess that I was a nicotine consumer. I considered this a win!

Man, this is the snes all over again! I found some cool giraffe print 'duct tape' and glued it to the m50, lasted about a week before it died again...this time I think for real real. None of my previous tricks are gettin it going. Think it's gonna go up on the shelf with the metal cast black pearl and quantum cola bottle, to many memories/headaches to just chuck it or keep messing with it. So what's your guys favorite mod that you've held on to because of memories?

It never crossed my mind, either, until I read some anti-vaping headline somewhere that proclaimed that 9 out of 10 dentists chew Trident. Oh I mean that "studies show" that vaping is bad for your oral health. Of course there were zero studies cited, and it was pretty ridiculous to read, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to bring it up and see what an actual dentist had to say about it!
