Well, at that time it was First Contact. I'm not really a fan of TNG movies. TNG show is my favorite, though. But the movies, with the exception of Generations, all felt like they sold out and didn't really embody Star Trek.
About half way through the last season of tng, been working my way through all of them

One of my favorite shows. Also another one I have on DVD. I wish I could get the remastered blu-rays. I went and saw a couple of the episodes in a movie theater when they released them in HD. It was pretty awesome.

Are they wide-screen?

*edit*
No, the Netflix version is the remastered edition.

I don't think so. It's been a while since I seen one in the theater. I'm pretty sure they weren't, though. But the amount of detail that was added is incredible. One of the best remasters I've seen.

It's odd that they aren't widescreen, they were filmed. I can't be sure but if you pay attention to the beginning credits you will notice that parts of the Enterprise are offscreen due to 4:3 and would be onscreen if in 2,35:1.

I'm watching Descent: Part 2 on Netflix now and it does look really good.

I think Amazon Prime has more of them in HD. Netlix only had a couple seasons last time I looked. It would be sweet to see them in widescreen, though.
