Yes a neat team effort. Hubby is the master woodworker and I was design, procurement and assembly. All the wood except for the stabilised bits are local limb fall wood that we pick up around our place so not the best and a challenge to work with but I wanted a specific look that I couldn't buy so we decided to make ourselves. We were both chuffed with how they turned out.

Well, they turned out very nice. I'll have to take a look at that thread. What is stabilized wood? I heard someone mention in a video review the other day.

It's wood that has had a resin (plain or coloured) liquid vacuum pumped through it and then cured. It allows all the burl type woods (that are at their best a tad shy of rotten (soft and powdery) to be used like solid timber.

It has its own complexities to deal with but you can get the coloured wood burls which I fell in love with on the squonkers threads.

It's really good, at first I thought it was too sweet but it grew on me rather quickly.

I did try Gone Baby Gone but I was still sick and couldn't get a good sense of the flavor. Air Mail smells delightful, as does New York to Paris.

I didn't read comics as a kid. I have watched all the movies. But it is pretty interesting to see a more gritty and realistic interpretion of how the villians came to be. I think it was a pretty good concept to focus on Gordon.

I never read comics as a kid either. I enjoyed the movies and shows though.
