Your very own little (tall) BB8. :) It really is cool looking. I had NO idea I would like a white mod as much as I do until I got mine.
BB8 was exactly what I thought of when I saw it. Actually, I think I called it a lovechild from a Stormtrooper and BB8.

Me either! I got the white and orange Target and loved it so much that I requested a white Ohm Go when I won that. Before the white Target I thought I only liked black mods. The white looks really nice though.

There certainly has been advances in devices. Back when I first picked up an ecig, there were 510 drip attys or cartomizers. Does anybody remember cartomizers? What a pain in the neck. And of course over the last 6 years that I've been vaping, the advances in flavors.....wow. When I started, like most, it was a search for that perfect tobacco to replace my marlbaro lights. When I finally figured out there was no such thing, it was on to exciting flavors like vanilla, banana, cherry....most were effing horrible (by today's standards), but back then they were good enough to put down the cigarettes and never look back.

My wife said the other day she thinks I'll go back to cigarettes eventually. I told her not unless they make a cigarette that tastes like Fruity COPYRIGHTDMCA. Flavor is the biggest thing that helped me quit. I was lucky, after just one day of vaping, I could no longer stand the taste of cigarettes.

When I started last June I went from a Vuse cigalike to an IStick and Nautilus mini. Though fairly advanced back then, vaping's come a long way even in the last year. No telling where it's heading ( or would if regulations don't get in the way of progress).
I didn't know how much I hated the Vuse until I got something better. Still, it got me off cigarettes from the first time I used it. :)

That's how it was with me. But, I never even tasted flavored e liquid until I'd been vaping for about two months. I ordered DIY e liquid supplies with my first mod. Unflavored was fine with me. :)

I guess unflavored in the Istick was just that much better than the Vuse. Even now I use it for a change of pace.

Yeah, I actually found a cartomizer still in the package not to long ago when I was cleaning, figured I'd take a little nostalgia trip...man those things are awful but they were so amazing back then. 5-10 years from now, what we have now is gonna be the same way though

My first "real" upgrade was going from the Halo Triton to my first box mod, the iStick 50, and the Aspire Nautilus Mini. That prompted me to go from 24 mg juice to 15 mg (mixing 24 mg with 6 mg). My first subohm tank was the Subtank Mini and the first time I tried it I absolutely hated it. The vape was way too warm, it popped and spit constantly, and made me cough. Once I got used to doing lung hits, I switched to subohm tanks and never looked back. Went down to 6 mg juice and now that I drip, I am at 3 mg juice.

The funny thing is when I first started vaping, I swore that I would only use cigalikes since I could never imagine myself gripping this huge honking box. Then switching to stick batteries, it was like "well, it's not much bigger than holding a cigar". Then my first box mod wasn't all that big.....I could hide it in my hand. Now box mods are the only ones that I use.

I still have 4 or 5 blu cartomizers and 1 blu Plus tank.

It really does! I have a white iStick 100w TC and a white Tobeco Super Tank now, too. I don't usually get white anything because...dogs, lol. Mods are different, though. The dogs don't jump on them with dirty paws. :D

Ha! I still have some cartos, actually! I remember being so frustrated with them because they were hit or miss, and I had to change them out so frequently. I've only been vaping 4 years but all of the great stuff has really happened in the last 2 years, IMHO. Things are advancing so fast it makes me dizzy, but in a good way! :) My very first juice was a banana cream pie. I had actually quit smoking years before I started vaping, but I missed it. When I discovered vaping and found out I could get the nicotine without all of the carcinogens I was all over it. I tried 0 nic but I got a massive headache from it. Turns out that was because the PG ratio was way too high in that juice. I went through a LOT of juice before I found what works for me (max VG) and I stay at right around 3 mg of nic, or even 0 nic now, and it's perfect. :)

Yep, the flavors taste so much better than cigarettes do! And they smell WAY better, lol.

That's where my son is, too. He wants a cig-alike, but he is dual-usage with a Target right now, so that's some progress! I told him I would get him a cig-alike if he really wants to quit and thinks it will help him but he's just not ready to totally give up the analogs yet. :(

I wanted to try one of the Mega Cartos (those were my FAVORITES) but I would have to find the extender for it, blah blah blah. I have a bunch of those left and thought they might be cool for taste testing, but I just can't bring myself to give tank space for one. One of the clear plastic cartos I have left is still in the package but the metal on it is rusting! That creeped me out when I found it. I was vaping on that thing?? sheesh.

A while back I found a cartomizer left over in my vape stuff. I tried it out, and at first it was fine...but it could not keep up with my vape habits. The carto got really hot and I kept getting burnt hits. I remember when I first found cartos I thought they produced the most vapor out of anything I had ever used! Now for granite, I was using ce4s at the time! Lol those dang leaky ce4s! Ughhhhh! Lol
