That's generally what we do - we bake a lot of stuff, can a lot of jams and preserves, that kind of thing, and make gift baskets for our adult friends and family. We are fortunate enough to have kids that are now grown up and moved out, and all they want is money (young adults ALWAYS need money) so we have no real holiday shopping to do. Me and the missus are foregoing gifts to each other this year so we can spend that money instead on a trip out of town at the beginning of January.
