Good morning all!

All the old folks here will tell you that it's only temporary Sj. Kids grow out of that type of thinking by the time they're 25 or 30

I Told them they could walk or I would give them a ride. They just had to decide if they wanted to wear shoes or not. Told them I bought the shoes for walking. If they were not going to use them for that, I would just take them back to the store. They decided walking would be better :D

I wish I had been that quick-witted in the A.M. when my kids were young.

You allow your kids to have shoes?

morning everybody.Hey Dan how was your pulled pork?

Carol and I had happy tummies!

We've been hitting the left-overs hard -- had cold sandwiches for a snack last night, and made breakfast burritos with it this morning. There's just the two of us here while our son is off on an extended adventure so we actually HAVE leftovers.....and it's a VERY good thing.

Me too! With my son living here (hey Sj! Remember that 25 to 30 comment?) we usually don't have them very often. Our house is reminiscent of what you see when the tourists on a Florida beach decide it would be "fun" to offer up a french fry to the flock of seagulls that are circling overhead. I suspect that if I tossed a plate of sandwiches into the air, the floor would never see a single piece of crust.

I have a plan as the kids turn 18 and graduate. On graduation day, while mom is at the ceremony, ill have a team of 20 moving us to the new house. I only have to do this four times and will be kid free (as long as mom dont give it away.) If she does, then I only have to do it five times :glare::D

Son moved out last May so I cooked for him and made enough for him to take to lunch the next day.
Now I just have leftovers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
