Years ago, I smoked a pipe for about a year. I liked an apple tobacco blend, does anyone have an easy apple tobacco recipe? I searched the forums, didn't have much luck.

I saw your post this morning and thought to wait before being the one who jumps on and says "I haven't made that myself, but I know where to find recipes. Cough. E. L. R. Cough..."

I might try a recipe I found there myself. What apples and tobaccos do you have?

Many might not consider RY4 a true tobacco but I like this one by Sad Panda

Yeah, I saw that one and have all those flavors. It seem that the most popular tobaccos were RY4D, Soho and PST. I'm wondering what stronger, pipe forward tobacco would fit the bill.

I've made some with Hangsen Highway and Number 5. They have a nice tobacco with a n

Highway or #5 from Hangsen might work well. They have a nuttiness which should go with apple. Was thinking of trying those or maybe a Flue Cured (HS) with one of my many apple flavors but never got around to it. Might have to try it this weekend as my last attempts at apple tobacco were okay but nothing I am proud of; they just didn't keep my attention for long.

This belongs to MGrimes but it is my fav apple tobacco recipe I ever tried and doesnt require a lot of steeping.
    FA black fire .25%
    FA cuban supreme 4%
    FA desert ship blend 2%
    INW shisha apple 1%
Only make what you can vape in a few weeks as the apple will fade

INW-Am4a is my go-to pipe concentrate. I like it, as a single flavor mix, at 3.5%. It is a good straight up (unflavored) pipe mix. you could easily add the fruit note of your choice (apple, cherry, berry, etc.).

I would probably start with something like this:
    2.5-3% INW Am4a
    and
1-2% of your preferred apple concentrate

Adjust to your liking from there. :)

NOTE: INW Am4a was named after, and made to mimic, this pipe tobacco:

I have not smoked Amphora; so I can't speak to Inawera's accuracy. I can say, that I find it a dead ringer, for the way I remember Half & Half pipe tobacco tasting. I love it! :D

I bought a flavor out of the blue and mixed it up and have been liking the heck out of it. It is Caramel Apple Tobacco from Flavor Phoenix. I mixed it at 6% and was good fresh but got real good after a couple weeks. The apple is the star of the show with caramel and tobacco being nice complimentary flavors. I just mixed up another 60 mils of it so it will be aged enough when I am out of the first batch.
