What did we pay for them at 3A I forget? We both got silver aluminum too if I remember right? Yea I did want the grey but the up close pics looked like panels were not fitting correctly. They had a mm or two between frame and panel?
Maybe the extra few bucks are for being able to order door of your choice? They come with extra so why would they do that anyway?

I ordered the black from 3f. If I like it I'll order a second one... maybe metal/wood if it is actual wood. I'm sure there will be plenty of extra doors to order separately in time.

Been enjoying the RSQ quite a bit, and impatiently waiting for the Pulse 80w release. Have a few of the Pulse on preorder, so not going to buy anything else until I get a chance to try them. Also planning on outright ordering another Pulse if I find one at a US site prior to the places I preordered shipping them.
I'll be keeping an eye on this one as well and checking here frequently for feedback once you folks receive them. Would be great to have another option for an inexpensive 'beater', regulated squonk.

Bummer the "wood" doors are plastic. And, why on earth would I want an extra panel without a squonk hole?
Yea no kidding. Well now we know what the extra is. That's a real shame to,I was hoping for extra colored panel. Why would we want to use a squonker as a regular regulated device anyway?????

That was my initial thought too,but it sort of looks like maybe they are thin wood glued to the plastic.At one point when he was moving the door around,it looked like 2 pieces so hopefully real wood.
It's a $35 regulated squonker, did people really expect it to be real wood? A wood veneer would be nice, but I'm just hoping it has some texture to it.
I am just hoping it performs well in VW mode and has firmware upgrades to improve TC which I am sure will suck

As a home shop project one could buy a $2 bamboo cutting board and make some doors out of that, shouldn't take more than 2-3h on a Sunday with only a saw, a file and some sandpaper.

...and some of us sometimes work 24+ hours in a row. Look, if it brings you no joy to craft something - then don't. It's not for everyone but I personally enjoy it.
Custom build is priceless. ..... Nothing can beat that.
Has anyone noticed the pre-order price has increased on these up to $55.00 . With the actual pics of the panels released I would not think the price would increase?
I know,I was talking about 3avape and 3fvape and one other that had the initial pre-orders a week ago.
Those have gone up. FT is still only selling the ABS versions the silver aluminum is not listed on there site.
