New to the site, decided to join since I seem to be here frequently. I am no expert nor novice vape. I have an atlantis, a vct mega/mage and just got an arctic. I am running an ipv 3 with all tanks currently. The Arctic does hit awesome but, has anyone had a flooding issue with it? I am using 75v25p (store)juice and after priming and setting g to the side for a few mine leaked some juice. I took it apart verified everything was seated and then started using it. Vapes great but the wife said I had too much cloud in the house so I put it aside. Couple hours later I had to go back and it was like I had poured juice right into the drip tip. Cleared out ok after a few hits. In the mornings same issue. I'm worried that it's the massive rectangular wick holes, but am hopeful that the .2 coil is defective. Any insight is appreciated. Also have found that I will have juice in the air inlet ring after sitting.

Haven't had that problem at all with the arctic and I've just gone through my first pack of .2 coils and have pretty much used it since I've gotten it. The cotton is so packed in those coils I find it hard to believe it's flooding that much, which is the reason it takes a bit longer to break in than others, but who knows.. maybe confirm the coil is screwed into the base well? Or maybe it is just the coil itself. Good luck!

I mix my own juices at 90%VG but I dont really use a lot of flavoring so that may help some, but I tend to average 5 days on a coil. That is going through damn near 8mls of juice a day. I tend to stay around 70watts on the .2 coil, but have gone much higher, i just find a good balance with flavor at 70.

When I first got it I had trouble with high VG so I've also used 50/50 and 70%VG mixes and had no leaking issues, then figured out I just needed to start around 50 watts with high VG to get the coil wicking for a couple hits and gradually move my way up to 70.

Great thanks for the info. From what I've experienced and what you said I'm not sure this will be a full time tank due to the amount of juice it eats. Outside of my issues I want to use it but being a frequent vape through the day I'm scared I'll spend damn near as much as I would on cigs. Lol. I'll try the .5 coil and if the flooding clears I'll update.
