We need to order blank cartomizers, wondering if all 808 cartomizers are created equal or if suppliers get them from diff manufacturers? Do they all produce the same or are there any specific "brand" of cart better/different than others?

I know you're looking for blanks but in my experience the pre-filled ones just vape better when refilled, I don't know why.

Some of the blanks I got seemed put together all wonky. Who knows, maybe the fact that they're filled "by hand" means they go through another round of quality checking.

well all blank KR808s are the same IMO the only difference would be if get old stock or new stock... but most of the suppliers here have new stock... I am vaping one of my blank ones from cigeasy and using juice from tasty vapor 50/50 and I think it is doing just as well as my other blankos... and that's the best part of blankos YOUR choice of juice

of course you get the dud carto from time to time and that can never be helped

I finally burned out one of my 36mg carts from Vaporkings, and figured I'd take it apart to see how they're constructed inside. I found out what failed, the atomizer wire had broken off at the edge of the solder joint to the center electrode. Maybe I broke it from trying to re-center the tube like everybody says to do. I'm not to concerned, since I refilled the cart like 4 times before it failed.

What concerns me VERY much is this:

DOES THE SOLDER USED FOR THE ATTY WIRE CONNECTION CONTAIN LEAD?8-o8-o

If it does, I'm quitting this and going back to analogs, or cold turkey. I get enough heavy metals in my system from working on cars every day.:-x

All blank cartomizers are the same.
A cartomizer is a cartomizer.

That's not true... I'm not talking about choosing one vendor over another - but multiple manufacturers are now getting in on the 2 piece thing.

I believe LeCig now has non KR stuff (not sure if that includes cartos but his new batts are non-Kanger), GreenCig makes cartos that are very different but compatible with the KR808 and EastMall makes their own cartos too...

With the growing popularity of this model I think it's about to get pretty confusing as to who makes what.

if the cartomizer is a "KR" then it is Kanger
if the cartomizer is a D-2 aka E-9 then it's from e-cig.com aka Cixi E-cig
Eastmall is not a manufacturer - it's just another retailer, just like nhaler or v4l, etc.

TTRP

Has anyone tried both the Kanger and e-cig.com ones? How do they compare?

I've been looking at the cartomizers, and have been wondering if they would work with my 510. Will they work directly with the 510 model, or perhaps work with an adapter of some sort? If so, how long do they last, as compared to the standard 510 atomizers?

Thanks for your insight and help.

You can get an adapter from AltSmoke.com. They only last between 3-20 refills approx. but they are cheaper than 510 attys. They also hold more juice than a 510 cart. Definitely worth checking out, they're much better on-the-go and I like them at home to. Haven't touched my 510 in 2 weeks now since I switched.
