I'm planning to buy a new Grand and an extra door of a different finish. I plan to use the extra door with my current Grand. I'm hoping to interchange the two doors depending on my mood.

Are the magnets on all Grands oriented the same way or would I need to remove and re-install the magnets on my old Grand so that the doors will work on both Grands?

Thanks!

I have not been lucky, but I think im an outlier. Rob recommends heating the magnet up with the tip of a soldering iron to melt the glue then give her a good whack over the edge of something (like a 2x4). If that does happen, you should order some replacement magnets from rob as well. You may be able to send it back to him, though, if you could live w/o the mod for a few days.

Thanks Rob! Might be better to have the magnets not installed on the new Reo so that I can get both Grands to match and I can switch doors around. :)

I'll get in touch again with you via email when the kits come out. I think I may have found a mail forwarder in the USA who can send me the items in a week's time to me at a fairly low-cost. I'll try to visit their local shop here to get a better price quote and their mailing address in the US. :) It seems like a reliable service since several of my friends have been using this forwarder to mail mobile phones only sold in the USA over here.

Awesome! Do I need to pay sales tax in the USA if my items are sent via mail forwarder? I checked their website, they have offices in either Woodside NY, LA CA, Daly CA, and Jersey NJ, which one is closest to you?
