I was kinda stocking up but, noticed a lot of juices seem to lose their flavor some after like a month so I quit doing so a few months back..

Good article, think I will consider stocking up on PT's just incase... As far as juice, I started stocking up on unflavored nic juices recently and am going to start figuring out how to mix my own flavors..

I don't think they will be banned altogether though.. Seems more like a plot to get the big tobbaco or drug companies to take over it all in the end.. easier for the FDA to control them perhaps, who knows.. Like person said on article, we aren't going to quit vaping, just find other ways to do so..

Is it doable for one to create their own atomizers? Since it's obvious the juice can be self made, can every bit of a PV be created by someone at their home? If it's possible and they do ban or tax the hell out of it, I'd like to be able to create everything I need myself.

I don't know if you'd be able to make an atomizer, but I'm pretty sure that if you tried hard enough you would find multiple methods for vaporizing nicotine

I don't know about that but, someone made them so if one is handy enough don't see why they couldn't do so too.. Do a search on here, may be something on ECF about it :)

I always make sure that I have a nice amount of stock on hand, just in case.

Regarding the government having out best interests at hand? I kinda look at it like this

You're right, but it doesn't really matter for me anyway, now that I did some math. Let's say an Atomizer lasts an average of 2 weeks. So if I can get atomizers at an average of 6 dollars, thats 26 atomizers a year needed which equals $156, so for 3,120 dollars, I could have enough atomizers in stock to last 20 years.

I’m just wondering if there is anybody that frequents this board that still believes that the government has our best interests in mind?
I don't think so.

To answer the original question, I have about 25 years worth of atomizers.
And I always have two years worth of juice on hand.

My Chuck uses generic batteries, so I don't have to worry about that.

The present US govt hasn't had the best interests of the citizens in mind for years. This is a goverment of, by and for money - for sale to the highest bidder. Dems and Repubs the same - they're all corrupt, more concerned with the advancement of their moneyed masters' agendas and self preservation than the good of the "lowly" citizenry.

Did you buy all those atomizers at once or did you negotiate a bulk deal with a site? I ask because I plan to do the same thing. I want to procure a supply of items that will last me a long time just in case a ban hits.

I bought a bunch from one place, and then a month later I bought a bunch more from another place.

I don't mean to sound like a douche, but I have money.
So I just bought them at retail price.

I would think if money is tight, you can get them in bulk from certain Chinese suppliers.
I've seen a lot of talk about people doing that, but I've never tried it.

Supposedly, if you just email them, you can get some quotes.

Oh no, you do not sound like a douche at all. I have money as well. I would just prefer to get the best deal possible, which is why I asked. I was even thinking of emailing a few US suppliers and see what could be worked out on their end for a bulk purchase, can't hurt to ask.

You guys know that if a ban hits it would do for vaping what the 1920s did for drinking bootlegged alcohol. Speakeasies for vaping would emerge. Hustlers who had the foresight to stock atomizers would quickly gain money and power. They would become more and more violent and begin to think that they're untouchable, until Kevin Costner and Sean Connery get involved... :pop:

Nah I dont think its too likely that it will play out that way.. I'm surprised that there's no tax on eLiquid now though, and I don't think that will last long. I'm gonna look into DIY liquid
