Working a squirreling away 'bout a thousand cartomizers. Should last me 'bout 19 years. I"m 66. . .would it be optimistic of me to pack away 1,500?

Cheers,
otrpu

This made me laugh !!.
I am 68, do not and never have trusted "we know what is best for you" crap- and yes, definately am stocking up. DIY gear-but also, thankfully, have cut my nic useage down to almost zero already.
Now just need enough carto's to last-the jiuce ingredients will always be available.
Unless, of course, we end up going to "Soilent Green". Any of you read that book ??.

i'm planning on stocking up on attys (considering spending a couple hundred maybe) and probably buying another battery mod soon. i figure if i quit vaping (which is my goal eventually) i could just sell off any surplus i have.

i'm also going to look into making my own liquid soon as well.

does anyone know of a good site for buying bulk attys?

several of my friends use 510 e-cigs and they won't think to stock up if a ban goes through. if this stuff still ends up being available, i could sell it to them for what i paid since they wouldn't have to deal with shipping.

Did you buy all those atomizers at once or did you negotiate a bulk deal with a site? I ask because I plan to do the same thing. I want to procure a supply of items that will last me a long time just in case a ban hits.

just a note here- I am a chain vaper, since May17, 2010 and have not killed an attie yet. NOt a single one has died, including one that kind of scorched a cartomizer today. It was on an automatic eGo, in my pocket, and I was mowing my lawn with a big riding mower. The noise or vibration, must have turned it on.
But, the cartomizer is now a bit bent out of shape, but still works like a champ.
Go figure that one !!!

wow I hope mine last that long... I have a manual eGo. How many attys do you have that you cycle through, and how often do you use attys as opposed to cartomizers? Are there any tips for maintenance?

Well this whole thing is my scared to death, I don't have money, things have been tight here for the past year since the hubby was laid off due to workforce reduction. I personally can't work due to a disability. So we just can't afford to stock up. I'm hoping that there isn't going to be ban because really it's all I can do. I just discovered e-ciggs and am a little over 1 week cigarette free, but I can already feel a difference in my breathing.

Do you clean them or do any maintenance? I have an atty that is just a week old and it seems to already be shot.

Best tip for NOT killing atties, was given by someone on this forum, who constantly repeated the slogan of " a wet attie is a happy attie".
Can not remember his name, but Thank you who ever you were !!

Actually, I "cycle" about 3 eGo's a day , some days only 2.
But have 6 eGo's, 3- 510's, 1 green smoke, 2 Blu's, and 2 Volcano's.
( the little guys Volcanos and blu's hide well in public for sneaky vaping).
And although I have about a dozen 510 atties, I like cartomizers the best.
ok, yes, some of us old people like to feel safe-LOL !!!

Actually have never cleaned any of them !! Either cartomizers or the 510 atties. Just keep them wet, always, always, always.
And I check all used ones that I am not using, every few days to make sure they stay wet.
Wish I could remember who it was on here that kept repeating that mantra.
He needs to be given the credit, not me.
