Are any of you (Americans) stocking up?

Is it doable for one to create their own atomizers? Since it's obvious the juice can be self made, can every bit of a PV be created by someone at their home? If it's possible and they do ban or tax the hell out of it, I'd like to be able to create everything I need myself.
If you do a search for mod kits you will find what you need. You probably will have to think inside the box for most of them! Lol I just bought my first kit very inexpensively. Haven't made it yet but it seems very doable. As I'm unsure of the rules about posting specific suppliers, feel free to PM me for the info.

Then we'll get charged with violating the PATRIOT Act, and shipped off to Gitmo or places unknown as terrorists.

If getting attys from China is hard now, imagine how hard it will be to import juice in prison.

Forget it, you'd definitely go back to cigs if you were locked up. Although I cant speak from personal experience, it's logical to assume that the more rare an item is, the harder it would be to get it through the black market in jail

Although you might quit smoking altogether, look at the inflation in the prison economy:

I have copied and pasted info about building a mod, making my own juice, etc into my computer. I figure it is wise to have back up plan / info - just in case.

Lord Almighty, I hope it never comes to that. But I figure better safe than sorry. I will build my own before I go back to smoking cigarettes.

Yes, I do have a small amount of stash. How much stash would a person need? How long will stash last? I am thinking more along the lines of DIY so I have a constant supply of juice and equipment.

Hope that day never comes,
Paula

I mean no disrespect, but from over here (Europe) this whole thing looks like you guys are preparing for a nuclear post war period lol. Are things that bad over in the US? I mean over here your country is refferred to as "the country of all possibilities" although reading all this doesn't quite give me the same idea.

America being the "freeist country on earth" is an absolute myth. We can still do alot but when everything requires permits and taxes, is that really freedom? We can't even put up a dog house without proper permits. To me freedom means having the ability to choose what I put into my body. If you don't have that basic right, then you have nothing.

I wonder what if any final spark will finally get Americans off their collective fat a$$es, stop bleating in forums about their lost freedoms and finally act to take back control of their government? I don't see e-cigs as generating that spark. They're too few of us. The financial interests that presently control our government will act to snuff us out before our numbers grow too large to easily control.

This tactic works well. Only piss off a small percentage of the people at a time. The same political machinery will then move on to protect the interests of their benefactors wherever else their profitability is threatened. Governmental corruption has been honed to a fine art in the United States.

So after reading today's news I popped the credit card in and bought like crazy. When it all arrives its going to add approximately five litres of juice (once I dilute it down), 75 cartos and 25 attys. Call me paranoid but....

Wait, no I am already paranoid.

Was there some type of real bad news today or something?

I have about 10 atomizers, 40empty carts, 5 pre-filled marb carts,a drip tip, and 6 Batteries. Also 2 USB pass-throughs on the way 1 5v and 1 standard 3.7v. I currently have about 350ml of juice but will have 550ml as soon as my order arrives. (I thought I would have it today but I guess it will arrive Monday). I also have a box of Fluval water polishing pads for re-stuffing carts on the way. I figure I have about a year's supply and in that time having been over a year analog free I would stay off them. If they were banned, and I'm trying to be optimistic and hope they don't I think I could cut back and ween myself off if I had to. If they're not banned though, I don't see any harm in never stopping. I think if they ever got taxed anywhere near what cigs are now I would also ween myself off someday.

I'm concentrating on hardware. Don't have alot to spend so its get what I can out of each paycheck.
Starting with attys, to me thats the hardest most important part of the equation.

different batteries can offer power sources as the modders have shown us. Then its juice. Nic is the hard part. VG can be store bought, PG can be had at feed stores and even ebay if need be.
