Wasn't sure if maybe the silver or gold are just treated metal or if all have a coating on them. Thanks in advance?
Are any SI batteries not rubberized / painted?

I love the black batteries because they are textured. But one of my 78mm got a scratch and now it is peeling. I can scrape it off with my fingernail easily. Gonna eventually do the whole thing. As far as uncoated I have a silver. The one thing I don't like about it is if you get even the slightest bit of juice on it or your hands are sweaty it can slip out of your hand very easily. I can across a site that sells wraps and even will make custom wraps to your own design. Only thing is they don't have our batteries listed. Gonna contact them to find out and see if any of the other sizes fit.
The "Stainless" and rainbow ones are the only one without the rubber coating....they look pretty sharp.

yeah i have two black autos, but am planning on getting a spinner and would like to avoid any peeling issues. looks like ill go stainless on that. thanks again all

As long as you are careful you will be ok. Both of my 78mm are black and got scratched because I was using them in a case along with one of my X2 batteries and had the T3 in there. Case was meant for my ciglikes so it was my fault. The rough bottom part of the T3 rubbed against both 78's and scratched them. I just bought one of the big cases from SI to use. Should be no issues with anything coming in contact with my big batteries. I have a black 900 a stainless 900 and a blue 1300 spinner.
