Is SI going out of business?

Haven't been here in awhile and came in to see what's going on with the Clearo stock. It seems there is speculation that they are going out of business? I sure hope not, but I'm going to have to look for an alternative if this is the case. Thanks to SI I've been analog free for a year and a half and my husband for 6 months. But, it would be nice to know if they ARE shutting the doors so we can make arrangements for an alternative.

As to that, what are the alternatives? Have people switched to something else with success? Other liquids? I love the SI RY4. It's all we vape. Clearo alternatives for the X2s?

Sorry to post something like this, SI, but I've been a loyal customer and it's disappointing to see questions not being answered here. Imagine was so great about this and it was one of the deciding factors for me in choosing my vape supplier.

Im almost at 2 years now.... I've only used SI Volt hardware in that time. With all due respect, time for Plan B. The legal landscape is changing, and the unknowns cause hysteria.

It is possible that SI is stocking up sufficiently, but only to be swamped with people overstocking up. It is also possible that SI is suffering from mfgr shortage. It is also possible that SI is suffering from a supply management SNAFU. It is also possible they are looking to be at low inventory in case the legal landscape changes to the point they do decide to go out of business.

For nearly a year, I just adjusted, and kept a good supply ordered well in advance of need. Regardless of reason, enough is enough.

Because SI is 808 only, I am going to have to bite the bullet and look for 510 supplies to ensure my HW is more easily replaceable going forward. Thank you SI. I've saved a lot of money, and quit smoking with your help.

Hey Guys, I know we have been having issues with inventory numbers but I can assure you that we are not going out. We currently have a boat load of clearos and heads for all of our manufacturers. We had some issues getting our orders through but they are on the way and we are not planning on going anywhere. Sorry for the radio silence but I hate coming on here without any info to give you guys.

Unfortunately you are starting to sound like a broken record. The inventory issues have been going on for 6+ months. Every time someone starts a topic about this or a question asked about inventory, it is the same response. I was a big fan of SI but with all of the issues I have been forced to buy aspire coils from other sources.

November 5 will be 1 year since the mvp 2.0 was released by you guys and November 18 for the aspire line. I said to myself, "Finally! A company pushing 808 forward!"

But we are almost at the 1 year mark and nothing has been released by SI for the mvp.

I knew when I chose 808 that I was severely limiting my choices on new products and I am fine with it. I just wanted you to know that I had high hopes and it is sad not to see anything new come out to the lineup. I love my aspire nova but I get the itch to try some of the things I see out there. I have been able to use a kanger pro tank III on my 808 mvp but I would prefer to buy my stuff from you guys.

Your positive attitude and assistance is appreciated. The supply issue seems to be well over a year old. I do not recall the last time I went on SI, and nearly everything was in stock. The coil shortage is a real deal breaker. I'm guessing the majority of regular customers have to be quite frustrated.

Plan A, buy what you need. Result: OMG! they're out of stock! what I am I going to do???

Plan B, stock up whenever you can. Result: OK for now....... sooner or later stock runs low... OMG!!! I'm almost out. What am I going to do???

I don't mean to be an .... I believe it is unintentional, but this will result in SI losing a ton of customers. What SI does not want is to fix the supply issue, by reducing demand. However, since 808 is hard to come by, the only choice is to switch to 510 to reduce the impact of supply shortages. At the end of the day, we know it is china, but I'd much rather be holding a common connection that 9 out of 20 stores carry, than the one that only 1 out of 20 have.

I know this isn't your fault, but please let mgmt. know this will seriously impact their customer bases.

About a month or so ago decided to venture from the cigalike world and try out pen style PVs like the X2 and spinners. Glad I did. Problem is, I need to start buying some replacement coils for my aspire clearos and SI never has 'em. I kinda freaked today, and since 808 stuff isn't easy to find anyhow, I decided to venture into my local vape shop to check out some 510/ego batts. A bit more expensive than SI and other online vendors, but it's worth it since they are at arm's length so to speak, they have stuff in stock, and of course no waiting for shipments. Their customer service is so-so but they got what I need. Point is, SI's inability to manage out of stocks turned this loyal SI customer to venture out into the world and look for alternatives, which will mean I will end up doing less biz with SI since everyone sells 510 equip.

I hope SI has a good reason to do what they are doing, but they are losing me. I will still probably buy some stuff from them, but much less than I have in the past.

Not posting this to be a jerk, just posting this to show SI that, whatever is causing their problems, they need to fix it. If it is the fact that 808 isn't popular and hard to find and therefore hard to source and manufacture, then maybe they need to start offering 510 equipment. I would definitely buy from SI if they did AND keep things in stock. Love their points system, coupons and their CS is second to none. ALl this means nothing if they don't have what you need, unfortunately.

I was going to get some Aspire heads for my SI clearos but THEY ARE STILL OUT OF STOCK as of this date. I think that now that I have 4 X2 batteries with Aspire clearos and no way to get replacement heads, making me feel like I have been abandoned by SI. It has been MONTHS since they had any Aspire replacement heads! What is the problem??
