Like every one else put it, it all depends....
Its all in "your own" satisfaction and enjoyment. Todays RTA, RDAs are so much better.... I could see in the days where it was either a carto, clearo or traditional drip atomizer that there was a big difference.
With some of the deep well drippers that hold up to 3mls, it seems to me that it is no longer a "dripper" but an atomizer with a tank underneath that you cant lay on its side?
I use mostly tanks as I like to be able to go hours chain vaping and not having to refill after a few puffs. I dont see any difference in taste...Maybe its my vape style, my choice of juices etc...
I think it all comes down to your personality....
I see it like this, when we smoked tobacco, there were those that enjoyed a pipe. Its almost "Zen" like, a ritual. It is like dripping in style.
THen there were some of us that just wanted to smoke , so we chose cigarettes. SO tanks just seemed right. Now with the sub tanks and large clouds its really like entering a room full of cigarette smokers.
I dont know exactly where cigar smokers fall, somewhere in between? They like taste and relaxation. There was a bit of setup with a new cigar, cutting priming, etc. Not large clouds, but enjoying the taste... I think that is where I am.
I dont see any big , mind blowing experience in dripping vs tanking. I use drippers for my gross NET and tanks for my other flavours that I can refill over and over till wick finally gets dirty... With drippers its usually once a day that I have to change the "turd like" wick.
