just bought my first mod that requires external batteries and didn't do proper research as it was an impulsive buy and I bought these efest 3500mah batteries going to hook them into a snow wolf I believe v1.5 mod but was wondering if they are safe to use?

I would like to fire this mod at 40watts at bare minimum up to 60wats or higher at times. I read somewhere they are decent for anything at 30watts or below if I was reading the post properly

if not could you list some safe brands? I do have brick and mortar shops that luckily sell batteries so I could pick up a pair. these products are in the process of shipping won't be here until Friday at the latest

For the most part efest batteries are safe. The problem lies in their inflated ratings of their batteries.
Never assume that their 3500mAh batteries are 3500mAh, and there is no such thing as a 35a battery.
Efest batteries are "B" bin rewraps, so first you need to know what's under the efest wrapper before you will have any idea of what the batteries specs actually are.

Personally, I wouldn't use any efest battery above 10 amps.

so basically the 30watts is basically the highest I can go on this device or should go if not lower for these batteries to be safe? damn that sucks now I'm probably going to buy some new batteries. I am watching a video where it says 2000mah can fire 60-120 watts but is the the bare minimum it should be fired at or is it safe to vape lower then 60 in that case

The "mAh" spec. on a battery is basically how much energy it can store, how long it will last before needing a recharge. It won't tell you much about how fast you can dump the juice out of it.

The CDR (Continuous Discharge Rating) tells you how hard you can work the battery (how fast you can pull/dump the power out of it without it losing it's wee little battery mind and goin' all thermal n' stuff).

Amps is current (rate of flow . . . juice dump rate). The CDR would be stated in Amps. You'll see ratings like "20A battery". The more Amps you're pulling, the "faster" the current, the harder you're working the battery.

Avoid Efest batteries like the plague, invest in some Sonys LGs or Samsungs.
Take some well spent time and read through Baditude's blog.
