I've never heard of this kind of modification but perhaps someone, somewhere has made such a thing...

I love my 510, preferring it for various reasons -- a lot -- over the other e-cig I have, the 801. But one downside to the 510 is the size of the cartridge.

Has anyone ever made carts that are fully compatible with the 510 atomizers -- meaning, they fit correctly -- that are longer and that therefore hold more e-liquid, for longer uses between "topping up"? Sure would be nice if such a product were available.

Then again: is there some other brand of e-cig, with an atomizer similar in performance to the 510's, that has larger cartridges to start with? When I say "similar in peformance" I'm thinking of the vapor out of the 510 being noticeably warmer (to me, anyway) than the vapor out of the 801.My experience with the two types of atomizers is that I get better flavor out of the 510. Some people experience it the opposite way, but for my purposes the 510's atomizer produces the more "flavorful" results. (I also have endless problems with 801s leaking, and no such problems with the 510.) If there were another brand with similar characteristics but a cart with larger capacity, that'd sure be a good thing...

I really have'nt been keeping up. But the fang, that came up awhile back had alot of promise. An auto feed that hooked on the side of PV's to auto fill looked great. Anyone know how that is going?

Otherwise, I'd reccomend to you the Screwdriver. about the same cart vaping time with the 901 on it (drippings great on both though.) I certainly consider the the 901 atty on the Screwdriver an upgrade to the Dura-C, 510,Titan, Yeti, Versus for throat hit and vapor. The Screwdriver with the 801 on it gives you more cart. time though. The Screwdriver has the comparable experience, AND the added benefit of long lasting cheap batteries. The batteries are a large up grade for vaping time/price.:)

Screwdriver and Dura-C, my favorites. Each for their own attributes. Each are great in public. But the really fancy occasion, I like the tube shape of the Dura-C with my dress and high heels.:)

Whew. At today's exchange rate that comes out to aboue $160 -- a bit rich for my blood!

I can imagine. Considering the number of promising-sounding battery mods along those lines -- with from 3.7V to 5V output and nearly all of them bordering on $100 -- it's getting downright bewildering Out There. (And in the last couple of days I found out about yet another one: the Vapre-51.)

I could try that, I suppose. Not sure what my wife would think of the idea...

mikea - have you tried the 901 carts on the 510? my notes say they do fit, and hold quite a bit more (about .5-.6ml) than a 510 (which holds about .3ml).

Hope this helps!

The 901 carts do fit on the 510. My daily vape is a 901 cart with the PTB mod. But do they really hold that much more than the standard 510 cart?

I've never really counted drops, but having used both carts on my 510, I always felt that the 901 held a little less than a 510 cart, but not so much that you really notice when vaping. I could be wrong though!
