Are menthol crystals similar to koolada?

I'm just curious because I ordered menthol crystals as I am having a hard time finding koolada locally. If not, do they do the same job?

No. They taste like menthol. Koolada has no taste. Its "cool" feeling when used in x-amount (self-determined) and "hot" when used in a higher amount. I think when it feels "hot" its because its irritating tissues.... kinda like cinnamon does. I use an amount that feels "hot" to increase TH.
