Hi guys had my set up for a few weeks now and been using it regularly with no problems till now. Doesn't matter flavours I use and what volts or watts it's set at, I'm just getting very little flavour expect burnt, worse as the tank becomes more empty, and less vapour.

Are my coils shot are is it the wicks? I'm using Iclear30? The one with 4 wicks at the top.

holding both buttons on the innokin svd shows the number 2.4A which I'm presuming is the coil resistance and means it's ok. Am I correct on this point?

Is there an easy way to identify a faulty coil/wick?

whats the average time for a coil/wick/tank to last?

Cheers.

Cheers everyone, new coils fitted and back to normal.

Thinking of changing tank to the iclear 30b doesn't look to have the wicks. Would these last longer? Or should I change to the nautilus aspire? I like the bigger tank models.

Every atomizer has a Wick of one type or another. Otherwise the juice couldn't get to the coil or get to the coil fast enough to give you a good vape.

Just because you can't SEE them doesn't mean there isn't any.

The 30b does have wicks, and they will last a shorter time than the 30.

The coil design of the iClear16 and 30 are the longest lasting (from what people say on UK forums...)

A week is a good result on a standard BCC coil.

I've got both the Iclear 30 and the 30s. I noticed that the 30 had a burnt taste I took it apart cleaned it soaked the coil in 100 proof vodka over night, rinsed it in fresh vodka the next morning, I smelled the bowl I use with the vodka in it after the overnight soak and it smelled burned. Again after the rinse I smelled it and not burned. Let the coil dry for 48 hours. Filled the tank with a mild juice and started vaping, before the tank was half gone here comes the burned taste. Doesn't matter what I do new coils, anything less than half a tank and it's toasted. Not so with the 30s. I vape for 10 to 14 days on a single coil before cleaning it. And then do it all over again. No problems. I just gave up on the other tank.
