Are my VTC4's real?

I'm convinced these are real, but I want your opinions because of the VERY REAL safety issues involved in using an inadequate battery. Here's my conclusion so far:

everywhere I've read says that genuinecells (eBay vendor) is legit = real
weight is 45.5 each = real
negatives are not raised = real
doesn't have that huge indent in the wrapping near the positive = real
the qr code and text match the appearance of what's on a real battery = real
doesn't have a nasty seam = real

Both batteries are identical so I only uploaded links to images for one of them.

This last photo is to highlight the only difference I noticed in the other battery. Note the positioning of the QR code.

So, would you agree that I have real batteries?

And lies in one reason we suggest not buying batteries off ebay or amazon, only vendor trustworthy is torchythebatteryboy (Torchy is the UK Vaper Forums Battery Expert like Mooch is ours)

Next batch of batteries you go to buy, buy from Authorized Resellers/Wholesalers, we suggest these for US Online purchase

But as far as I can tell they look authentic compared to mine, if you suspect not, don't run them over 10amps CDR.

They look like they could be real but the printing and QR codes are an unreliable way to spot a fake as they are so easy to copy. The best way is to test them at 40W-50W or higher, per battery. The fakes will typically have miserable performance at those power levels. Occasionally check the battery temperature to make sure they're not overheating.

This ^ Two of mine look fake but I've pushed 100 watts and they're not warming up, or sagging oddly.

I have dealt with GenuineCells on several occasions, I would have no problem trusting them or their descriptions. Ebay is just like everything in life, you have to do your homework, or acquiesce to chance.

I don't have anything that will push that much power atm. However, I'll have a Kanger Subox Mini in a few days that these batteries were intended for. I'll be careful to test them in it.

I agree with IMFire3605.

If you are truly concerned about getting "fake" batteries, buy only from reputable trusted vendors like he listed above. Even they may (rarely) get some fakes in, but once they realize it they contact their customers and offer replacements.
