are parts interchangable between V4L's product and the real KR808D-1?

Another way of putting it is that V4L has brought the kr808-d model to a whole new superior level. All kr808-d model parts are interchangeable, but V4L DOES go above and beyond all others with customer service and selection. And I swear those cartomizers last longer and have better flavor!!!
Can't prove it, just know it!

yeh i havent seen any that arent compatable. but like Nightwalker just posted some carts from others have grooves and V4L doesnt. But ill tell you this though about V4L cartos. There are all different qualitys of the cartos. made different some are cheaply made some are well made. V4L carts are well made and nice and strong and their carts last longer than some of the others. so who has the real KR808? doesnt matter to me but personally i think V4L carts taste better and last longer than others. If you are not sure about compatability just ask your questiuon here for example will this KR808 accessory go with that accessory from somewhere else. someone here will help you out as you just noticed with this post you made.good luck

All parts are compatible, just not some of the cartos which come from places like Nhaler which don't have grooves on the bottom. As V4L batts aren't grooved on the end it makes it impossible to suck :D Other than that i've noticed no compatibility issues and i've got KR808 stuff from 4 different places.

Nhaler's carts work on the auto VK batts. The manual and the PT which are sealed are the ones that do not work unless you align the holes perfectly but it still takes some work.

I have a chrome auto VK batt and its sealed no grooves, does not work with the Nhaler carts that have a solid ring inside with no grooves, it's impossible to get more than the tiniest bit of vape from it even sucking really hard lol.

yeah the old batteries with no groove don't work on cartomizers with no groove, currently I thought that all new cartos and batts both from V4L came with grooves, so should work with anything? In any event, ensure you have the groove and you should be good to go.
If you manage to get ungrooved for both sides, then the 'staple mod' (Where you bend half a staple into a sort of 'v' and create a gap with it - search the forums for it :p) will fix that also.

Even if there is only one or two companies that manufacture KR808D-1 e-cigs, there are still a lot of things that make suppliers different from one another.

    Customer Service
    Price
    Packages
    Selection
    Ease of ordering/website layout
    Advertising

I haven't tried other cartos from other places. So I really don't know. But something tells me they're probably the same as what other vendors sell. I'm thinking some of you are just so happy with service and selection that you're probably blowing vapor up your own butts convincing yourself they're different. I mean logically if V4L's carto's were different and better they'd probably advertise that fact. Like saying "We have our cartomizers specially formulated..." and so on. But even if they are the same as other places, I like the way they color categorize and label them. I also like the selection they have. Plus when I talked to Steve on Friday he said to expect even more flavors going forward. :)

I just received some blanks from V4L which I have not tried yet. However I have tried blanks from two other vendors and they did not last very long...most of them have burned out. However the prefilled carto's I have received from V4L have lasted much longer than the blanks I have received from the other vendors.

I have not tried prefilled carto's from other vendors, but many have and most say V4L's are better.

You do understand they just sent one of their own to the plant for three months for product development and quality control right?

Thanks for mentioning that. Steve had been working with the factory but it has been difficult. With leaford in the house we will have much better products. And I am looking forward to it..:D But what we have had has been very good.

    Roxics,

If they were the same as all the others I would never have rated them as my #3 favorite e-cig a few months back, and I certainly would never have joined the V4L team. I joined V4L because I've tried nearly all the rest, and they do not compare. In fact, while I am too polite to name names, most of them just plain suck.

ALthough for that matter if you want some names, search for some of my posts about the Kr808, or check my video reviews. I made my opinion VERY clear about how the VK is superior to the rest, MONTHS before Steve hired me. ANd unlike most of the ones I disliked, I had NO affiliate agreement with V4L. Yes, I was willing to bash models that I could have earned commissions on, and instead praised the one that I got nothing from. Because the Vapor King deserved it.

Read around a bit more; Steve DOES promote over and over the FACT that we have had our carts, our batts, and our liquids specially modified and formulated. How different are they? DIfferent enough that the improvement in quality is clear. But still not different enough for me, that's why I am here in China trying to modify and improve them even more. :thumb:

I ordered cartos from another vendor once. Won't do that again.

Well that's actually really awesome to hear and I'm glad I'm wrong then. :)
I kinda figured you guys picked and chose the best batts, glad to find out you're also customizing the juice. Just makes it a little more special. :)

Drew informed me that the carts I had were last years model and in order to work needed the use of the staple mod. I tested the staple mod and now they work great and put out excellent vapor and taste. I am so happy I found this site and found out about suppliers like steve and drew I don't think I will ever need another supplier as long as they are around.
