are parts interchangable between V4L's product and the real KR808D-1? and, are their prefilled cartomizers refillable?
All parts are compatible, just not some of the cartos which come from places like Nhaler which don't have grooves on the bottom. As V4L batts aren't grooved on the end it makes it impossible to suckOther than that i've noticed no compatibility issues and i've got KR808 stuff from 4 different places.
Nhaler's carts work on the auto VK batts. The manual and the PT which are sealed are the ones that do not work unless you align the holes perfectly but it still takes some work.
I haven't tried other cartos from other places. So I really don't know. But something tells me they're probably the same as what other vendors sell.
I have not tried prefilled carto's from other vendors, but many have and most say V4L's are better.
You do understand they just sent one of their own to the plant for three months for product development and quality control right?
Even if there is only one or two companies that manufacture KR808D-1 e-cigs, there are still a lot of things that make suppliers different from one another.

I haven't tried other cartos from other places. So I really don't know. But something tells me they're probably the same as what other vendors sell. I'm thinking some of you are just so happy with service and selection that you're probably blowing vapor up your own butts convincing yourself they're different. I mean logically if V4L's carto's were different and better they'd probably advertise that fact. Like saying "We have our cartomizers specially formulated..." and so on. But even if they are the same as other places, I like the way they color categorize and label them. I also like the selection they have. Plus when I talked to Steve on Friday he said to expect even more flavors going forward.![]()
I just received some blanks from V4L which I have not tried yet. However I have tried blanks from two other vendors and they did not last very long...most of them have burned out. However the prefilled carto's I have received from V4L have lasted much longer than the blanks I have received from the other vendors.
I have not tried prefilled carto's from other vendors, but many have and most say V4L's are better.
Roxics,
If they were the same as all the others I would never have rated them as my #3 favorite e-cig a few months back, and I certainly would never have joined the V4L team. I joined V4L because I've tried nearly all the rest, and they do not compare. In fact, while I am too polite to name names, most of them just plain suck.
ALthough for that matter if you want some names, search for some of my posts about the Kr808, or check my video reviews. I made my opinion VERY clear about how the VK is superior to the rest, MONTHS before Steve hired me. ANd unlike most of the ones I disliked, I had NO affiliate agreement with V4L. Yes, I was willing to bash models that I could have earned commissions on, and instead praised the one that I got nothing from. Because the Vapor King deserved it.
Read around a bit more; Steve DOES promote over and over the FACT that we have had our carts, our batts, and our liquids specially modified and formulated. How different are they? DIfferent enough that the improvement in quality is clear. But still not different enough for me, that's why I am here in China trying to modify and improve them even more.![]()
I have a chrome auto VK batt and its sealed no grooves, does not work with the Nhaler carts that have a solid ring inside with no grooves, it's impossible to get more than the tiniest bit of vape from it even sucking really hard lol.
