Are primers used in cartomisers?

I'm expecting my Joye 510 and eGo today. I know that I will have to blow out the primer in the attys.
But I also ordered cartomizers. Will the cartos be good to go when I get them? Or do I need to prep them like an atty?

The cartos (presuming they are pre-filled) will be ready to vape. If you ordered empty cartos, just fill them and vape (though I do recommend filling and waiting for the juice to soak in and then topping off and waiting and then vaping)

I don't think there is primer in stuffing-type cartos. I definitely have not gotten any in Boge or SLB blanks nor Vapor4Life blanks. There would be no good way to get rid of it in a stuffing-type carto so I doubt they ever use it in those.

However, even though CE2-type reservoir cartos (filled with a syringe) supposedly have no primer, some people did report primer sometimes in the earlier revs of CE2. I haven't bought any of the current CE2, Clearomizer, Fluzomizer nor the Joytech reservoir ones so I don't know about those.

I bought the fluxomizers and they didn't have anything in them, though they don't taste "clean" out of the box. People recommend doing a dry burn before filling them.

TO THE OP: I'm talking about CE2/Fluxomizers here, NOT your standard cartomizers... so please don't try to dry burn your cartomizers

I love those Boges. Not a hard hit with the standard resistance but a nice amount of vapor and and I get great reuse out of them. I tried the SLB standard too and they look messier inside, like a folded slab of thick looser stuffing, no real defined center channel and an inner seal that's a bit annoying to take out and put in. Vape nice though so far.
