Gary Jennings for historical fiction..The Journeyer and Aztec were great..put you right back in the time period, greatly researched story telling..definitely guy reading for sex and violence...epic stories.

On that recommendation I downloaded the sample for The Journeyer on my Nook. Good sized sample, 150 pages. Usually an epic book takes a little time to suck you in...not in this case. I've hit the purchase button.

I'm not big on reading books but I'm always reading on the interweb.
I read Jacks book a few years ago, my Dad and 2 of my sister's also read it because I was always talking about Jack .
I just reread the sequel to Cherish the Magic.
It was never published, I have an unedited copy on computer paper with a cover letter I'll cherish for ever, Jack gave it to me about 2 1/2 or 3 years ago.
Don't know how many people have a copy and I don't even want to say what the title is because I'm not sure what will become of it.
Jack told me he had a copy on one of his computers and unless I know what Gioa is going to do with it I don't feel like I should share it or let a copy loose.
As far as I know others may have a copy but he never mention to me who else he had sent one to ?

If anyone else has a copy please send me a PM.

That is outstanding! You are one blessed dude, Bob :)
I don't have a copy. I hope that Gioa will move forward with having it published, if she can. I would certainly buy it, as I'm sure there are many who would.

Among others, my favorite authors are Neil Gaiman (Good Omens, American Gods, and others), Juliet Marillier (Seven Waters series), and CS Lewis. Just finished a sci-fi trilogy by CS Lewis last night, written in the 30's ...very deep and a challenge to read for sure.
