So I’ve been looking about and not finding much. What I wanted was a vandyvape pulse2, but apparently it’s not made anymore, so I looked for the pulse3 and also came up empty. Then I went for ”any non mech squonk at all” and found just 1 In one place: A marvec priest which may be a mechanical anyway. I dropped an email to vandyvape asking where I could buy stuff (since there were no prices on their site) but if it gets answered it won’t be till later. There are lots of places that used to sell them. I’m having trouble finding anything actually in stock though.

You got me thinking about squonks. I returned to VApe social media after several years and I am now old school.

I shop around in the EU and GB. I will keep my eyes open for squonks. I don't see them much on second-hand market, but then I was not looking for them.

Well, I've been away for a long time but haven't been away from vaping, and I'm trying to find an Adjustable Squonk myself. I've found a few, all but this one was a bit of work to find. Problem is I'm not finding anything that tickles my fancy.

There’s still 4 I know of. There’s the vapdyvape pules 3, the hadron with the backpack (so gigantic, but also the only pumper), one I saw on 3fvape that was apparently a clone of something I couldn’t find. It was a double battery one with the tank up the middle, and I think lostvape still does one.

It was popular for quite a while. They did a second run with new doors and made some SE kits. Something I learned years ago is, popular stuff usually goes fast. If I find something I really like, I get spares while they're still available. There were quite a few items I dragged my feet on and missed out. Now'days, I pretty much know what I want. A lot of the newer stuff doesn't interest me.

My favorite squonk is a Smont Battle pumpers. I should've got a lot more than 2 of them. I owned them for a couple years before even trying one. The first one lasted for a few years. Now I'm on the last one. I've been keeping an eye out for alternatives. Luckily, Dovpo decided to make another run of Topside Duals. I bought 4 of them from Sourcemore. They were listed in stock for maybe a month, but now they're sold out. I figured as much and that's why I got 4.

The 3 looks ok. The difference is the way it is filled. It wants unicorn bottles a lot though I suspect. The 2 just had an open hole you could stick anything in, while the 3 just has this little port. It’s a bunch simpler though. I’ve babied the fill port on my 2 because it looked like I could strip the threads. The 3 will be longer lasting. Doesn’t matter though. I’ll be done with vaping before I wear out my current mods I think.

I’ve seen several squonker mods for sale including one with a cartridge tank that was uber cheap. Seems to be getting fewer. Not dead yet though.

I'd argue the love of squonk not dying, but I maybe dillusional. However saying that more people I'm teaching about RDA and rebuildables are loving squonking so I would imagine an incline on the interest but as far as manufacturers going were quite limited! Especially on affordable market. I don't know about you it's very rare I can go above £100 for order

I just bought two at wetvapes on heavy clearance. It was oneheckuva deal. It will be hard to kill squonks. Its simultaneously one of the cheapest and most productive ways to vape.

I must admit I don't understand how you mean cheapest? Productive yes especially if you get an bf RDTA, so much easier lol, but cost of squonk mods are MOSTLY limited to mid to high end market ATM , rarely see new stuff from China well not like you would a dual mod or whatever, even Chinese manufactured Boro are peaking up more , if you mean cheap on clearences.... Some case find VERY CHEAP stuff but some are mech squonks which I wouldn't invite someone to get with a run down on ohms law, especially since for a while that was cheapest way to do them

It’s by definition rebuildable which means cheap. There is the maze and suchlike, of course which is a coil cartridge meant to squonk with. they’re rare though. It seems to be the only type that is normally rebuildable. Coil cartridges cost more and disposables cost ALOT more. You could, of course, run a maze or suchlike, and make squonking cost what coil cartridge systems do, but why? That increased production happens because the system boils more liquid, and some rtas drink juice. It’s what makes the, taste better. Even twice as much juice is still less expensive than coil cartridges though
