Reason I am asking is because I recently have tried both the JohnsonCreek juices and the halo juices. One is great, smokes great, tastes great... The other does all that but gives me a light headed buzz and fogginess. The one that is great is advertised at 18mg and the one with the head buzz is at 12mg.

What gives? You would think it would be opposite.

Welcome , but probably is . Not that uncommon for vendors to mis-mark juices . Your only solution is to get yourself a test-kit . At least then you will know what your getting . Or like me , I started doing the DIY thing . That way I control what is going in my juice , not some minimum wage idiot .
I find the idea of DIY juice both very attractive and a bit intimidating at the same time. How much of a time and money investment was it initially and how steep was the learning curve?

I've never had an experience like the one you've described. I generally vape juices that are between 10mg and 15mg. 12mg is my preference. Based on my personal experiences and what I've read elsewhere on the forum, even a 6mg variance can have the kind of effects you're talking about. 18mg juices will give me too much of a buzz, for example. It's difficult to tell what your preferred nicotine level is from the information you've provided. Have you vaped any other e-liquids at either 12mg or 18mg? What has worked for you before?

With reputable brands, like JC and Halo, I suggest you contact them - you'll probably find they're very helpful and will take your comments very seriously. All their liquids have a batch/lot numbers for QC purposes and they can carry out tests if necessary.

Cigarette smoke contains high levels of carbon monoxide- that's why you get the 'buzz' smoking. Not sure why you'd get that vaping.

If you feel your nicotine strength is incorrect, contact the supplier. Both companies you mention are well respected suppliers that use labs. But check with them.

I assumed that by "head buzz" (also described as "light headed buzz and fogginess") the OP was talking about being over-nic'd.

Could it be a pg reaction? JC was the vanda and pure vg, the halo is a mix... before jc i used blu...

I doubt it's a reaction to PG - people are often too quick to blame all kinds of symptoms on a sensitivity/reaction to PG in my honest opinion. I vape Halo liquids (at 12mg strength) on a daily basis without any of the symptoms you describe. I do have a few bottles of my favourite flavours in 18mg strength lying around for when I need a stronger nic hit e.g. when I'm stressed out. However, if I were to vape 18mg strength at my normal vape pace I would quickly begin to experience similar symptoms. Light headedness in particular is one of the warning signs that you're on your way to being over-nic'd.

I would, however, recommend that you stop using the Halo liquid until you are sure what the problem is.

I have discontinued the halo juice and feel better. Something is off somewhere, just not sure where. I am going to try more jc juice (just have to order some).... I just hope that i can get to the bottom of this so I know what strength to order.
