My first rda was a big block and yesterday I put in fresh cotton and it just delivers great flavor.
I think its because of vertical coils but I can't seem to find any with a bf pin.
I have 2 454 so I could do some modifications but I think I need a tall bottom feeder pin for vertical coils.
If there are any similar RDA with bf pin already in or kit please post name or link. Also is there any RDTA with tall center pin for vertical coil(s)?

The pin in the 454 is a press fit pin. To my knowledge there isn't or never was a BF pin for them. I had a V2 which was basically the same atty only shorter. I drilled the pin out myself using just a vice and a handheld drill. I don't remember what size I drilled it so don't even ask. I did drill the cross hole right at the deck and it drained the excess liquid off really well and I never had any spillage or seepage out the air holes whether it was standing up or laying down. The center pin is partially hollow down to just above the deck though. Also keep in mind it has a copper center pin and not everyone likes a drilled out copper center pin. There are a few out there that think the drilled copper center pin will poison you or something like that. I smoked 1.5 packs per day for over 40yrs and I don't think that drilled center pin could ever do the harm that cigarettes did to me for all that time!!

A 454 can be bottomfed but it's a leaker. Catfish modified mine a few years ago. If you want a good vertical coil bf atty, look at the origin v1, 2 or 3 or the Lucid RDA. Those are better choices in my opinion.
You can also install a vertical coil in a Mulciber rda quite easily. Thats an excellent bf atty that seems to get over looked.

Jai Haze teamed up with ravensmoon dude and output the 502 squonk rda. Basically they took the deck of a 454 and changed out the main ring with two half rings and threw in a squonk pin. I can’t justify spending that much $$$ on an rda but I like the concept.
Sold out now I guess but see here: VapeL1FE
