I've seen many people selling of their supplies because they said they were done with both. I know of no one personally, but, I imagine a good way to getting there would be to comfortably lower the nic-content in your juices until you've reached 0mg and after you figure (if you ever do), that the habit is just no longer needed, then you're done :)

I've given up the nicotine. It took a year and a half of gradual weaning but I've been at 0 for about a month and a half and don't miss it at all. I was a bit over a pack a day smoker from age 12 until age 52 so I'd say I was legitimately addicted.
I still vape 6 mls of 0 nic juice a day because I like it.
There's something very freeing about vaping now that I know I'm doing it because It tastes good and I enjoy the act of it rather than because my body needs it. I could quit vaping without a problem now but I have no desire or need to. I like it :)

Ya know, at this point I really think I could quit vaping pretty easily. But I ain't gonna! Why should I? The effects of vaping being as minimal as I strongly suspect they are, are well worth the enjoyment and relaxation I get from it. While smoking is what I'd qualify as an addiction, I really think, for me anyway, that vaping falls more into the habit category.

I have heard of a few quitting both, and i applaud them for it, but at this point I have zero desire to quit vaping...EVER!

I fall into that category. I pop in every now and then just to see whats going on. I picked up my PV on january 18th of this year. By April I was on zero nicotine, and by july, I just kinda tucked my box of supplies into my closet. I suppose it depends on what you define as "quit". About twice a year I have a beer or two, yet when people ask me if I drink, I tell them no. Honestly there is no category for my brand of drinking. Occasional drinking is defined as at least a few drinks per week. So, since July I have pulled my pv out twice and taken a few hits. Its not even a habit anymore. It is a very occasional thought. I have thought about selling it all on here, but honestly, I like knowing it is there..I was a 1.5 pad smoker for 25 years, and I dont want to go back to that..so if I do fall back, I am going to make sure I have the pv to fall back on, and not the cigs.

I don't know of any members that have quit both. I on the other hand have never vaped. I got interested in e cigs as a way to quit chewing Copenhagen. I chewed for more than 20 years. After learning about e cigs i got my wife to use them and she has not had a real smoke in more than 70 days. I took a different road and quit cold turkey and have been nicotine free for more than 80 days. So I know first hand that it can be done.
