Been using carto tanks for my all day vape just because its easy. I prefer to drip, and possibly one day Ill get my genesis to smoke how it should. Anyway, I only have experience with smok cartos because I can get them cheap from IBTanked pre punched.

Does any company make a premium carto? Im looking for something with the best flavor and vapor production. Just looking for your opinions without buying a few here and there and paying shipping on all different ones.

Thanks in advance

I really don't like filler. I use GotVapes Raven cartos. They can also be cleaned and dry burned, so they last quite a long time, making them a good value. They carry flanged and non flanged.

For some reason I can't get those damn Raven cartos to work, but I want them to work so bad! Anything special you've found you need to do, or any upkeep tips?

I have heard good things about IKV but can't seem to ever find them in stock and when I get notified I am always too busy to go and log on and buy and when I do....out of stock :(

I use boge and get the muti deal from surevapes. I think $25 for 5 packs of 5 or $48 for 10 packs of 5.

Going to try the IKV one day to compare. I have a couple of ravens and don't care for them much however it may just be I have not found my sweet spot yet with them

Since you already drip, have you considered a bottom feeder mod? You get the flavor of a dripping atomizer and the convenience of a built-in tank.

Alternatively, if you already have a tube mod, Super T Manufacturing makes an attachment delivery device to turn your mod and an atomizer into a bottom feeder.

Super T's Vape Mate

By the way, I totally endorse the Ikenvape cartomizers. I use the Platinum and the 510 Fusions in my cartotanks. Totally superior to Boge and Smoktech.

I was very disappointed with the Ravens, so you are not alone. Like many clearos, the draw was airy and light and reduced throat hit. I even tried covering one of the holes to make the draw better and it didn't work.

I've never had a clearo that isn't way too airy in comparison to a good atty or carto.

This isn't going to help the OP, but I saw a review by PBusardo of a new product by Vapor4Life. He made a point of stating how well the cartomizer was wrapped and that the filler was superior. I was tempted to order one just due to his comments about the carto. It's not a tank cartomizer and will probably only work with the V4L product but here is the review:

I like the Kanger horizontal carts, i use the 1.8ohm. Once they are used up i take out the filling, clean, and use as a dripper/tester for my DIY flavors. They are almost silent which is nice for stealth vaping. I've never used them in a tank though.

I've only tried two ravens. One had wicking problems but tasted great when it did hit, the other is working well and still in use after two weeks.

I'm excited about the smoktech nickel mesh cartos. I have a few but haven't tried them yet.

I hope you are able to find a way to make them work to your satisfaction. There's a recent thread about these either in this category or in the tank section. General concensus was they perform pretty poorly. I purchased a few, and the one that I've tried was pretty bad. It either acted like it was flooded or tasted like a dry atomizer...no in between.

I've been using them in regular Smoktech cheapie tanks, filling the tank using a tank tool, then 3 drops directly on the coils. For cleaning, I use a syringe to flush, air dry for a day, 3 second dry burn pulses until the coil glows, and that's it. No special tricks. What are they doing that you can't get them to work?

Thanks for all the advice. Im going to pick up a handful of the IKV cartos soon as they are in stock. As for the bottom feeder.. I like the idea, but just hate the look. Not a fan of box mods. The bottle hanging off the side isnt too much better. I may try one just for fun, it may sell me on a box mod one day lol. I smoke a provari. Im guessing the bottle adapter will fit a 510?

Thanks

I vape primarily on two Provari's.

I never cared for the look of the botom feeder mods either. The only reason I picked up a Vapage VMod recently was because a few of my ECF buddies have been using either a Reo or VMod for a while now and strongly urged me to try one. When Vapage had a recent sale on the VMod XL I grabbed one, and I'm not at all disappointed in it. It's very portable and pocketable and provides a very nice, clean and flavorful hit. Quite affordable as box mods go. http://www.vapage.com/V_MOD_s/173.htm#

The Vape Mate actually just snaps onto an atomizer. Here's a demo video:
