Are there 'real' tobacco e-liquids and copies? How to telll the difference?

I didnt realize there were real tobacco flavored e-liquids as well as synthetic copies of tobacco, or imitation tobacco flavors if you will. But I was just reading another thread about favorite tobacco flavored e-liquids and it seemed to be saying that there are both real and imitations out there.

I've looked at quite a few tobacco flavored e-liquids and dont recall any of them saying that they were extracted from real tobacco. So my questions are: 1. are there any really good imitation tobacco flavored e-liquids?
2. What are the best flavored REAL tobacco e-liquids that actually taste like a good American ciggy

3. Most important question: Which e-liquid tastes the most like a Newport?

As far as question #2 is concerned, I don't personally know of any juice that taste like smoke from burning tobacco, but that does'nt mean some don't taste better than it.
I get 80% of my juices from Backwoods Brew( BWB), Don does extract his own tobacco bases and they are pretty good.

The "real" cigarette taste is hard to come by - and very subjective. For me the closest to ~real~ I've found is Ovale's Golden Sahara. However, after vaping so long it's just not a pleasant experience going back to that cigarette feel.

Vermillion's Kentucky original is a safe bet IMO - clean and solid vape. And if you want slight tobacco variety the whole Kentucky line is some of the best there is.

I've actually found the "extracted" tobacco vapes to be a bit harsh for a vape - and not very cig like to boot. Good luck, -Magnus

You could look into Halo e juice.
They have some of the best tobacco flavors, and a lot of people say that Prime 15 tastes really close to a real cigarette. I personally didn't like that flavor, but their liquids get batter if you let them sit for a while. You could try that and mix it with some kind of a menthol flavor and maybe that will be close to what you are looking for.

Their menthol ice flavor is a really good menthol by the way, probably closest to the actual menthol flavor of NPs.

I second Magus' sentiments. Vermillion River's juices are great. They not their best tobacco imitations, but I think they are actually better. How long have you been vaping? A lot of us want tobacco imitations in the beginning and then move on to other flavors down the road. Also, be aware that some of the extracted tobaccos are incredibly rough on attys and cartos and will shorten their life significantly. If you really want tobacco, check out Vapenstein. He knows his tobaccos, but trying some of his top picks also convinced me I don't like tobacco as much as I thought I did.

I am still waiting for my Tornado tank kit to get here! Its been almost a week already, and it wont be here til tomorrow from about 1000 miles away. They shipped it UPS for some reason, and for some reason they are really slow with this order. I have another order coming from Totally Wicked that I just ordered saturday, and it shipped today, and will be here Wed, so I dont know whats up with the first order.

But in the mean time I bought a Finity disposable e-cig on saturday, and its not too bad, but it puts out almost no vapor at all. I've been using it and smoking about 1/3 as many cigs as I was 2 days ago.

I really want a decent menthol taste for the Tornado and the Torpedo VV that will arrive wednesday.

The best real "extracted" tobacco flavors in my opinion are from Vaperite.
But even though they taste more like tobacco than other flavors I've tried, they still don't taste like a burning cigarette.

I've tried Vermillion River Kentucky Premium, and Halo Prime 15, and both of them are among my top 10 favorite juices.

But honestly, I really don't think either of them taste remotely like a cigarette...
--Kentucky Premium tastes like a fairly sweet RY4 juice to me
--Halo Prime 15 tastes like a very nutty 555 type of juice to me

And I'm not so sure that Halo or Vermillion River tobaccos are made from real "extracted" tobacco, but I could be wrong about that.

Gandalf is my fav from hhv, but I think the op might prefer "dark horse" if they want a more cigarette flavored tobacco, and they have an option to add different levels of menthol if you want.
