I was planning on getting some for my wife's Sigelei 75W TC but more so for a couple new sets for their 150W TC. She likes the two cells for better battery life.
I should add that she'll be using .15 Ni200 coils at, I'm guessing, 40-50 watts. Maybe a bit less though.
Fair deal. The VTC5s should work in either. However, I'd suggest you have a look at
@Mooch 's battery selection
chart. He does actual bench tests on these cells and I, for one, believe him and his results. I will further say, if it were I who was doing it, I'd probably select Samsung 25Rs for the 75 watt machine and Sony VTC4s for the 150 watt one. Actually, I run VTC4s in everything pretty much, because I like the thicker safety margin and I don't mind the slightly lower capacity. Just a thought; nothing wrong with the VTC5s, they're solid batteries and those are regulated mods. Finally, for TC, I find 40 watts to be more than enough for anything not involving massive and complex coil builds. The wattage really does nothing but shorten the ramp-up time for the coil to produce vapor. Once temp is reached, the machine will adjust wattage (below the upper limit you set) to maintain it. If you want to use Super Duper Fused Clapton Twist coils with 20 gauge wire, you might need more wattage, or if you're occasionally gonna want to do a bit of could chasing with a Kanthal build, then go for the Siggie 150. But my personal experience is it's not necessary. I have a Snow Wolf 200 watt machine; and it's never been above 100 watts, only that just for a test, and I mostly run it at 40 or below with both Ni and Kanthal.
