Are these batteries safe for vaping really low ohm builds?

Hi, I have another question and am also too afraid to reply to other people's posts so I'll just keep doing this until I muster up the courage.

Anyways, I purchased these LG batteries from my local vape shop. They're LG -I dont know a specific model names- the label on the side says they're 18650, 2500mAh and 3.7v. They look like these but with a label on the side instead of directly printed on the side.

My question is, would it be safe to vape super low ohm builds with these? Also can I measure their charge on a multi meter?

thanks again, guys!

How super low? Depending where you read they are 20A continuous discharge batteries, so you could theoretically go as low as 0.21Ω. But i'd not recommend it - it's nice to leave a little margin of safety, so i reckon on using say 80% of my battery output at a time.

Yes you can measure the voltage on a DMM.

Okay, my multimeter said my current build is around .5Ω But i suspect that's wrong.

If it is correct, is it safe?

Anthony,

Do you have an ohm reader or know how to use a DMM to measure your builds? Have you read up on battery safety, ohms law and amp limitations? If not, you need to do so before beginning to rebuild.

If you have to ask if your battery is safe to run an xx ohm build you need to do some more homework.

1. Ohm's Law for Dummies (Vapers)
2. Explain it for the dumb noob: Ohm's Law calculations.
3. Ohm's Law Calculators and Formulas
4. Battery Basics for Mods: IMR or Protected ICR?

I'll read those all right now, thanks.
