Are these FET's close enough to each other to work the same...

In a touch switch mod? I like the smaller profile of the first one and have used the to-220 version. Specs are close, but different.

One I want to use:

I am not the smartest about these things, but the only thing I notice that is significant is the Rds(on) is significantly lower in the irlr3103pbf.

EDIT: On the other hand, the irlr3103pbf's Rds(on) is not much different than the IRLZ34N, which I know works exactly the same as the IRL3103, so it should be fine.
