Hi guys, I purchased my Sony VTC4s from RTDvapor.com since many people recommended rtd vapor as a respected online vendor. Today I finally got them. Based on what I read from how to spot fake Sony batteries at How to spot a fake Sony VTC5 battery, I am not sure if what I have got are authentic.

So to all the battery experts, could you please help me out? Much appreciated.

Here are the pictures.

My concerns are,

1. The QR codes look too bright and dense.
2. The seem looks like what was in the fake one in the article, http://www.sun-vapers.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Nasty-Seam.jpg

More pics in the next post since they only allow five in one post.

I hate to bring this thread up again. But this morning I completely charged my VTC4 battery, and I vaped like I usually did but it just died on me (no more power and it couldn't fire any more). I am using the same coil build (0.5 ohm), same mod, and the same ejuice, and my efest 2500 mah always lasted me 2 days, but this VTC4 couldn't last one day! I don't know if I got a faulty battery or what?

How many charge cycles on the VTC4 and how long did it last at 0.5 ohms when it was new? What was the battery voltage when you took it off the charger? If you don't know, charge it again and check it.

One last question. What was the battery voltage when the batt was empty?

Well the vtc4's are 2100 MAH so that would account for a little less vaping per battery than the 2500 MAH efest but definitely not half. Also time is a really bad judge of battery life, the way most people figure how long a coil or battery lasted is how many milliliters of oil they went through before the battery died or coil gunked up.

Thanks for the reply and sorry it took me so long to reply this. But the only answer I can provide is it lasted only 1 day when it's new because I don't have the tools to measure the voltage, and I still don't have a box mod yet (undecided among sigelei 100 plus, ipv3, or the upcoming DNA40) to see the voltage.

Anyway, I have been using my mutation x v2 (great RDA, 2 thumbs up, btw) with 0.3 ohm dual coils since I figured the amp draw will be 12.33 so efest should be able to handle it. Again, efest lasted much longer than vt4. It is just based on my observation, no scientific measurement though, lol. So my 2 vtc4s have been collecting dust.

But by now I don't bother much with which battery performs better as long as I keep my max amp draw below 20.

Just one question to ya, why don't they make 18800, or something like that, to give more power to the battery? You can say go for 26650, but I would say why not 26800 then? :) I know that 18 is the diameter, and 650 is the length, but why can't they make longer batteries?
