I'm still hanging out here just so many people are so good at answering the questions that I don't need to chime in as much as I use to :p

actually every time we read the What's new we are going to be reading the same answers we used to read when we were newbies :) , in my real world I am outdated about the new hardware :D

What can I say, ecf is a great resource for sales, new mods and tricks. I'm usually in the review section for both eliquids and hardware, the supplier forums for sales or supplier speciific forums. I'm in the "conversation" sections only once in a blue moon.

So too all newbies following this thread...don't just hang out on ecf until you get the hang of vaping. Stay with the forums even if you aren't into posting. There's always something new going on in the vaping world whether it be the latest mod, vendor or laws.

I was gone for a few months and couldn't believe all the new things that were out during that time period. Big battery mods, Ego Tanks and a slew of new models and vendors popped up. Took me a while to get back up to speed (and try a few things out). Took me a while to check out the Ego Tank (blech) and GoGo (like it, but not for every day). Did start to use my 510 once in a while with the new pump carts. I love and hate how quickly things are changing... but it is all for the better and much easier for someone new to get going. My social group each month helps me to keep up on the new stuff without buying it all. Ha...

I wonder if most of the 3 and 4 year vets don't post much because some of us are still using some of the older models so it makes it difficult to answer some of the questions? I've stuck with my penstyle attys (302) and my mods (now VV though, lovin' my Darwin). I still use a cartridge (had a 6 month or so vaping person in our social group see me fill it and ask WHAT'S THAT!!?). lol

Helen not so much that but this site got so big its hard to keep up and yes I do get behind the current wave of e-cigs. I still see an occasional longtime veteran posting in sub-forums I hardly go to anymore.

That sums it up for me Helen! I do like to post.......but when It comes to questions, I am generally asking them not answering them. Other than that all I can offer is my opinion on the benefits of vaping and cheesy humor!

Gives a whole new meaning to the term 'toilet water', Hellen. =)

Isn't it funny how the newbs look to the 1 year folks for inspiration, the 1 year folks look to the 2 year folks and us 2 year folks have the admiration for the 3 year folks? The 3 year folks look to the -- well, it seems nobody stays on the forum that long, at least not actively... so many names have disappeared or just <cough> moved on.

It would be cool if the 'veteran' status title was updated -- 1 year veteran, 2 year veteran, etc. Because, you know, I don't do well with math... LOL

Results of this are....Angus said it would take a huge amount of coding & changing around of things to program the forum into tracking the number of people here with the different join dates for them all, for this to become a reality...which I can understand, as there are over 6K ++ members here...it was a great idea...but I think threads like this can be a help to showcase the members that have been here 2 & 3 years...I tried Richie:)
