Hi Whiskey! Such a pleasure to talk to you again!
I hit my 2 year mark this month on the 6th. Wow, where does the time go? I started
vaping/smoking in July of 09 and had my last analog in September. I never went back.
vaping is so much more of a pleasurable experience, but I cannot say that it has been a cheaper one then when I did analogs! LOL
Well, it's all my own fault, I have this affliction you see, something comes over me when a see a new mod that interests me and I start to dig in my wallet for a cc or head towards paypal on my computer. Right about now, although I have not done an accurate count, (one of these days I will) I would say that I have around 140 or so mods. From pen types to battery boxes, from production models to hand build one off's I have a wide variety.
It started out as a journey to find the perfect vape, but I know now that that does not really exist. I have many mods that I have liked for many reasons and although I do have my more favored models, things are constantly changing in the vaping world and what may have one day been a favored vape gets knocked down to second string or put away in my collection.
Also, with the introduction of accessories or shall I say vaping enhancers, such as tanks, new carto's or power boosters, some mods get pulled out from retirement and others are put in.
One of the true pleasures that I get from vaping is not only the act of it, but all the new people that I have met and friends that I have made through this wonderful forum and via my vaping club. I am also happy to see how our little vaping community has been growing by leaps and bounds, getting away from those poisonous analogs that once ruled our lives.
I hope to enjoy many more years with this forum and look forward to meeting more people and making new friends. I love seeing how more and more modders are stepping forward and creating new objects de' art! E-cig models have changed so much, going from penstyle analog look alikes to models that can dispense e-liquid and offer a huge range of voltages. Who knows what the future holds for us vapors! I consider my collection a museum of vaping, while I may not have every single model that has been made, I have a nice chunk of it. Perhaps one day you will see an ad that reads "Come one, Come all to the Col.'s vaping museum"
VAPE ON!
