I don't need my vape to be as hot as an analog; I prefer something cooler, more like a hookah pipe.

I prefer higher ohm cartomizers, bottom-coil clearomizers, longer drip tips on my RBAs, all of which help cool the vapor.

The ultra long drip tip on the above AGA-T2 and Mini Provari is from My Freedom Smokes. 510 Long Skinny Drip Tip - Aluminum - MyFreedomSmokes.com

The Freudian drip tip from Pink Spot is another longer tip which can cool your vape. Freudian Tip

I personally prefer cooler vapes. And I'm pretty sure that if one can get addicted to menthol, I've become addicted to it (strangely when I smoked I hated menthol cigarettes--the cigarette part ruined the menthol I think). I also prefer long drip attys (because they are cooler in temp) and bottom coil everything. I also like bottom coil because I don't have to play band leader with my PV when the level gets low--top coils have a serious design flaw the coil is at the top, gravity pulls juice to the bottom! :p

And I'm known locally for using very low settings on VV devices. Just enough to get good vapor, not enough for it to be much warmer than say body temperature.

Does preferring a cool or warm vape have anything to do with what flavor you're vaping? I vape menthol and fruit flavors and prefer a cool vape. Maybe if you vape tobacco or bakery flavors, they do better with a warm vape? Just askin...

PS: I second Orb's koolada recommendation. It's my #1 additive. When you want a cool flavor but don't want the menthol taste, koolada is the way to go.

Koolada is pretty nice. It gives you cold where you want cold but without the menthol flavor. I've added it to a rum and coke mixture because menthol drops made the flavor weird and I had to toss it. (But I vape mostly DIY anyway and I'm not afraid to dump a 0mg test batch--thats why I make those in 0mg.)

That said, I've not noticed any vape that I didn't like at a cool temperature. However, I generally like cooler vapes. Others have said that they like some vapes (menthols obviously and fruits and perhaps beverage flavors) at cooler temps, and other vapes (tobaccos and bakeries) at warmer temps.

Actually, I never thought of that, but I think you're right. I prefer certain candy/dessert/bakery style vapes, and coffee vapes, too. Never have been impressed with fruit flavors or anything else, for that matter. Good deduction. :2cool:

I hear every so often:

-This x atomizer will give you a nice warm vape.

I hate warm vapes! Especially right now... We're in the middle of summer! I like a nice cool vape!

What about you?

I'm so cool that the ice cubes shiver when I open the freezer

Definitely Not Cool.

That is why I use CE2's. They were the Last of the True Top Coils.

And the Last thing I would do is Use a Long Drip Tip. I Hate Drip Tips. And that makes Liking the Current Generation of Clearos kinda Hard seeing that they ALL have Basically the Same Set-up.

This is a Setup for those who Like a Warm Hit...

Not sure how the Coil can be any Closer to the Top.

Yeah gotta keep it cool down in South Texas, left my T3S and vision spinner in the car the other day while I went to do grocery shopping, came out and tried to vape and it was working, i could hear it, taste it but no vapor? Its too hot down here 100F+ everyday! Gotta keep it cool! Besides if it gets too hot, I worry it will blow up in my face! ....and yes, I'm cool.:2cool:

Same problem in Las Vegas, I take my vape outside and after a few hits the vapor is gone. Works fine in the cool A/C but in the heat it keels over. Which is why I carry 2 units. Get a few hits off the first, switch to the second, then back inside. End of session.

I was cool. Then I had a kid. It's amazing how being a parent sucks the cool from your very core.

Ha same here. I had cool clothes, cool shoes and a cool ride.

I don't like the city I'm in so that's part of the reason as well I don't give a crap what people think anymore. I need new shoes and work pants but they still are usable. I'd rather buy new vaping stuff lol.
