do you just get a bunch because they're not very good and you just want to find the best one? Or do you just want to have them all for the hell of it? lol

Like, I enjoy spending money on random gadgets and stuff too, but when I buy sometihng, I wouldnt go back and buy 10 more of the exact same thing, you know what I mean? hehe

although now that my atomizer is dead, I kinda wish I did buy a bunch. I've been dying. My replacements are coming ridiculously slow.

i have bought to find the ones that will suit my needs at a price i can afford.. i dont care how long they last as long s the overall cost is reasonable.. they have to work well.. for the first month i was happy with what i had.. then the obsession set it.. forums like this tend to encourage obsessions.. he he

always buy the spares before u need them..

Normally I would not go back and buy more of the exact same thing; however, if I find an e-cig that I really like, yes I will go back and buy 2 or 3 more of them just so I have backups of my backups.

*sigh*

I guess you cant be an e-cig smoker until you're ready to spend huge amounts of money on 10 of these things.

I think at $100 for 1 very simple unit, it should be able to do what it's supposed to do, without having to buy 6 more. They should atleast provide a few atomizers to start, then be willing to send you replacements BEFORE you need them.

so do i.. but its becoming clear none of them do.. so for me its 40 dollars for the unit then as many cheap atomizer spares as is needed to keep the thing going..

purchase costs play a big part.. new atomizers can be bought for ten dollars.. fluid for a fraction of the price njoy charge.. the alternative is what u have.. i am quite happy to change a ten dollar atomizer every two weeks if thats whats needed to keep the thing going.. quite clearly buying a bunch of the more expensive brands aint practical..

read the rip off thread..

I'm very taste-led, so I knew a description wasn't going to help me choose between how the devices taste. So right there I knew I'd be ordering more than one. I also picked up off the forum that initial shipping and returns/replacements crawl. So I bought multiple devices from the start.

Well I can only comment on having bought my first one with spare atomiser and extra carts (thanks to Mr Darcy for the advice) it cost me the same as 200 cigs - which would have lasted 5 days - so ... yes re-directed funds about sums it up for me. In August - I plan to re-direct some more funds into trying another one - unless I'm so delighted with my mini that I want to marry it :D

horses for courses, mate.

Generic Pen - the walking .... Around the house, at work, and during my frequent public battles

Janty KB Classic - at my PC via USB cable

Janty KB Yentl - in restaurants if I will be drinking copiously (I smoke more if I'm out on the lash. With spare atomisers I can pre-charge and load up 3 Yentls, which last the night)

Sedansa Nano2 SC500_v2 - in restaurants if I will be drinking lightly or not at all (only got 1 of those, but the carts are delicious and complement food well. I don't smoke as much in this scenario)

Super e-cig - while out on the raucous piss. I have enough bits to make four of these and they all fit snugly in the supplied box which looks like a packet of fags. These ones always get handed around to people who want to have a puff and if I lost one in a driunken stupour or it drowned in someone's pint it wouldn't kill me, cos they're cheap.

Haven't got a specific use for the NJOY penstyle, but it looks the same as the generic and will get the same use (it's been out of commission for the last month).

Oh, I know what you mean...
but I still don't have any of them :( the waiting is killing me.
I have ordered from 4 suppliers 5 devices, many spares and carts. If I'll wait another week I can see myself ordering a pipe as well. I even ordered snus and tobacco gum from Sweden because of TB :)

I am not loaded but trying all these electronic cigarettes out is costing me more money to run than my Jaguar xk and my Jaguar xj . I spent over £1000 in four weeks on various cigarettes and cartridges plus the ones I ordered four days ago and still haven't got shipping confirmation so half my money is still in the post.

Yeah, that's about where I am. Break-even points around January (if I stop shelling out now...)
