I'm new to vaping, and just bought my first e-cig. Probably the brand many noobs try first... blu.

Anyway, I bought each carto flavor that was available, and hands down I'm in love with the Java Jolt. I love my coffee first thing every morning, and this taste just like it, with just a kiss of mocha taste IMHO. Wondering if anyone else likes the coffee flavors, and which brands of juice have the best coffee taste? The fruit flavors Cherry Crush, Peach Schnapps, and Pina Colada were a but too sweet for my liking. The Magnificent menthol (and I'm a menthol smoker of the analogs) taste not so much like menthol but more like mint. Kinda nice actually. I did like the Vivid Vanilla as well, but that Java Jolt has me begging for more.

Hope to get totally off real cigs soon. I've only had my blu for 4 days, however already I'm down to 4 or 5 analogs a day! I'm amazed how much I look forward to a drag off my e-cig over my old smokes.

I started on Blu as well, just plain old standard tobacco flavor. It actually has a coffee flavor to it, which I loved. Coffee+Tobacco. They use Johnson Creek flavors, PG-free (Red Oak). I think Blu's tobacco flavor is Red Oak Domestic.

ANYWAY, you asked about coffee flavors...and I have to say my hands down, all-day vape, absolute FAVORITE is VAPERITE KONA CREAM. It's organic, and I get all VG. Incredible vapor. Smooth. Delicious, too.

Great to hear the analogs are on the way out the door! Best wishes, and good health to you SawTooth!

Kona Cream was my first all day favorite juice, from Vaporite... who does fantastic work on all his stuff; Clouds of Vapor carries virtually the same one; at least they did when i started out.
The issue you may find though is like a lot of dark juices, they could cause early gunking of the coil, so watch that.

You'll find that people can have starkly different opinions about the same e-liquid. I bought a 6ml sample of Kona Cream from Dayna at Sweet-Vapes that a lot of people seem to rave about, but it's not exactly what I was looking for.

Probably my favorite beverage is two shots of strong espresso, some cream, and lots of sweetener (usually stevia extract). That last part is surprising because I don't care for very sweet e-juices! I agree with GeminII that the Johnson Creek's Red Oak that comes in Blu's Classic Tobacco tastes somewhat coffee-esque, so you might check out some of their tobacco blends. I've also heard good things about the coffee flavor from Copper Creek.

Let us know how it goes!

I just got a bottle of "Espresso" from Backwoods Brew:
Espresso
And I love love LOVE it! Not very sweet, tastes (and smells) just like an espresso shot, very rich. I'm still new and experimenting but I think I could happily vape this one all day.
On the sweeter side I've really enjoyed the caramel coffee creme (I think it's called) from Hoosiers.

I took pen to paper and wrote down all the coffee flavor suggestions in this thread. THANKS GANG!!!

Bodrell: Your suggestion of Espresso from Backwoods Brew sounds up my alley. I'm not into "sweet" coffee. My morning cup (or I should say the entire pop) is Starbucks Columbian with no sugar or cream...just BLACK and STRONG. I don't mind a hint of mocha however. Say, is that a Rottie in your avatar? I raised Rotties for 25 years. Wonderful dogs. Did not do agility, but did show in obedience.

Ukeman: What is early gunking of the coil mean? Remember, I'm ultra new to all this.

Thanks again everyone for all these suggestions. Most sound super yummy!

This happens a lot with the dark colored juices. What happens is for some reason i'm not personally sure of the dark flavors tend to leave more residue on the attomising coils than the light or clear colored juices. Again i haven't been doing this long enough to know the exact reason for it, but since i like "coffee n' cream" from Bluemist vaping. i have had it gunk up a couple of my atty's.

Darker juices have more coloring in them, which just adds to the various "stuff" that doesn't vaporize and gets left behind.
That "stuff" starts accumulate and get baked onto the wicking material that the coil is wrapped around, gradually reducing performance.

The best, and possibly only way to get baked on "stuff" off of the coil is to do dry burns using this method...

Not so much coffee flavors but I just found a new favorite: Pcela's Famous Five Layer from momandpopvaporstore. Absolutely yummy. Chocolate, with a caramel undertone and a hint of vanillla, mainly on exhale. I love that stuff, got it last week, let it steep for a bit, and tried it today. Had to order a bigger bottle right away.... Sooooooooo good~

Concerning the "gunk" on the coil in the atty:

Right now I have my very first e-cig which is "blu" with the disposable cartomizers.
So, with this in mind, do I have any reason to be concerned about "gunk"?
BTW, I am already wanting something BETTER than the blu, and started a thread adking for info called: Beyond "blu" Now What? Need Suggestions.
And... I've only had my blu for a little over a week now!

If you are disposing of the cartomizers after use, then no need to worry about gunk.
It takes awhile to build up to the point of being an issue.

If you are refilling those cartomizers, you probably don't need to worry about the gunk either.
They filler material will probably stop wicking properly long before any possible gunk buildup would be an issue.

So basically, gunk buildup is probably only a concern with atomizers, not cartomizers.
