Hey folks, well this day has been a busy one for sure. Went to pay bills and stock up on what we needed because where we live we are some of the first to lose power and our roads are like the zingo roller coaster lol... When I walked into our local Wal-mart you would NEVER believe how many people were waiting to be checked out. 8 fully loaded carts were before me in the line I chose and the other check out aisles were much worse than that. Get this, I wait over 50 minutes in line only to be handed the "LANE CLOSED" sign but i wasn't about to be turned away so I ignored them, figured if they insisted, I would have to go to another line but nobody said anything to me. I can't believe all the people who were there. We've got a fireplace, generator (2) and plenty of wood, and plenty of chow so we are good to go. I drew up some water in containers just in case too. Hoping it doesn't get as bad as they say it will. I'm vaping strong and have not had a real cig since last Thursday morning :)

Went out with some buddies (some pd and stormchasers) had a good caravan of lifted trucks. We were out till about 5am helping stranded drivers. And maybe a little playing but for the most part pulling out police cars..... Lol

You guys be careful. If you don't have 4wd and ground clearance DONT even try it. You will get stuck!!

I could barely open my back door

Yeah, snow was totally blocking my dog door! I had to push a broom out of it to clear things a bit for the doggies. They were really frustrated. Snow has drifted so high against my back door that there will be no going out that way for a while. It is blowing down off of my roof and piling up against the back of the house.

Looks like here in East Tulsa, I have about 18 inches... at least that is what it measures out in front in the middle of the yard.
Wow! This is one thing that is nice about working at home... I can still work as long as cox stays up to keep me online.
You guys all be careful!

Just for the record, since the mess started in OK, I am holding all of you responsible for the 2 feet of snow about to be dumped on me. You won't know when, but I will have my satisfaction..................

Stop your whining! Your from the Chicago area, you should be used to dirty politics and bad weather!
